This hospital is the worst. I've spent the night there and did not get my usual medicine. I was starting to feel a seizure and could not wait any longer. Also when i called the nurse and tell her about the problem she inform me that the doctor just put in for my medicine and that as long as I took them yesterday I would be ok. That I know for a fact not to ve true not everyone body works the same.

Dr Shasha is an incompetent doctor that shouldn’t be allowed to practice. My routine appendectomy by him lead me to three hematomas and a fever for weeks while Dr Shasha told me ‘you’re fine’. After getting to a much better hospital at the Cleveland Clinic, they discovered the hematomas and had to drain the largest one after putting me on multiple antibiotics from the damage he did. He had the audacity to tell me to still travel to Italy for vacation, where Cleveland Clinic ER doc told if I had I would have died due to the large amount of blood in my abdomen. Good Samaritan was a horrible

Waiting 27 days to receive a medical report or being able to log into the patient portal to download the report myself... One Star is above where my patients is at this moment. 20 plus minutes on hold again trying to talk with a computer specialist.... There personnel were very nice! It is the followup of using the patient portal that has wasted at least 2 hours of time.

The ER team at Good Samaritan saved my boyfriend's life! And Dr. Pineiro exhausted all options to get him the tests he needed. The team of nurses on the 3rd floor and the physical, occupational and speech therapists set him on the right path to recovery. The Neurological and Cardiovascular team worked so hard to get him treated after his stroke/heart attack, and all departments have great communication with one another. The emergency response team that showed up SECONDS after I saw signs of a stroke knew exactly what to do. The case managers on the 3rd floor saw to it that he got THE BEST rehabilitation

Ended up here for an Appendix surgery. The ER seemed under staffed because i got out of the bed and went looking for help. But in all fairness i was treated at their off campass facility FIRST on Okeechobee and it was excellent there. Thanks Laura for helping the time pass since the Morphine did not knock me out at all. Than i was transferred to the main hospital where I could not get one wink of sleep because the LOUD intercom went off every 5 minutes in my very old ER room. But outside of that, the PRE OP team was AWESOME. The anesthesiologist and his team were the best i have ever had!!! No

I arrived with chest pain. 9/17:21 I’m an RN-BSN. I have never heard of an ER that triage chest pain as non urgent . The woman at the desk should be working in a diner . Two RNS playing on cell phones while I have a rule out MI in the waiting room where I was the only patient left. No o2 . no pain relief, nada. As team leader I would write you up as an incident. My friend took me to a REAL hospital after we waited an hour 45.
The more I think about my experience with this hospital, the two RNs playing on their phone could have at the very least done an EKG which is the standard. Good Sam standards
