I like coming to this place to get my nails done. They always do a good job and the color stays on for weeks without chipping. However, I have grown frustrated with them during COVID. I always call and make an appointment and the last 2 times I have had to wait at least 20 minutes before being seated. What is the point of making an appointment? I'm happy they are busy, but please do a better job of spacing clients out so we don't have to wait.

This place was horrible. Worst experience ever with my nails. They left me for one full hour with the acetone and add on more acetone twice while I was there. After I called the woman and asked her to removed the nails and that I didn't want her to do anything else, she kept on pulling my left hand and not wanted me to leave.

I brought my 5-year-old here for her first pedicure as a special treat. She loved it and has already picked out her color for next time! I enjoyed it as well! They took such great care of us and it was clean with Covid precautions you would expect, without impacting the experience.

Great place. It’s my go to salon to get my nails done. Not the most professional, more relaxed staff but always very nice and friendly. It has a good feel here. Can almost always fit me in if I forget to make an appointment and call last minute. Love that they do cuticle care. So many places don’t do that. Only criticism is my nails are almost always not all the way straight but I just do two swipes of a nail file at home and all fixed. Love that they make my nails thick enough not to break but not as thick as other places! I prefer my nails on the less thick size. I think it looks note natural

All I can say is that I'm not impressed. I got a Gel Manicure ($30) and will say they had many gel and normal color options, and are happy to try any design you bring in or ask for. My boyfriend got a pedicure ($30) to which the lady he had really put in the work to make his feet soft and clean cut, so at least he's happy.

I found this place on yelp for nails and pedicure and eyelash extensions. lash extension cost is only $100.
I was wondering why it is too cheap in this shop.
Cheap one would be wasted money. I usually paid $150 for eyelash extension so far and I couldn't complain cause they do great job. Anyway.........
But unfortunately I had a terrible experience from old woman in this shop. Employee said Pedicure with shellac was $35 but old woman reversed to $45 eventhough I didn't like the color cause it looks different from sample. Also Employee said $40 for nail powder with French tip but suddenly

My daughter had her nails done here. After less then 24 hours her nails had chipped, the varnish was coming off and they were also hurting her fingers. She was quoted a price for the work at the start and upon paying was charged an additional $15. The only positive thing I can say is they agreed to take the false nails off for free. We asked for a refund but they refused. Will certainly not be going back and I would not recommend this place!

I used to work in Gilman, and this was the place I heard the best things about in terms of nails. I recently went with an old coworker in to get my nails done because I loved the way hers always looked and I wanted the exact same thing. Well I loved what they did and I just left my third time getting a fill. I see there are lots of negatives about the wait time, and yes it can be annoying but it happens at every single store (not just nail place) I've ever been to. Last time I went it they couldn't get my in for two out, and this time they got me in right away. I have never had acrylics

I've been here so many times but today was the last straw. Waited patiently to get my toes/nails done for over 3 hours and they rushed me once the first time and had to paint them again and then they rushed me again when there were only 2 customers and 4 women working. I told them I had an important photo shoot tomorrow and they still rushed me. So I paid $32 to have to paint them myself tonight.
Don't go here unless you're white because they only treat white people well.
Or just don't go at all. Worth it to just drive to Polished in Seattle and pay more, at least they give

It was my first experience going to Uptown Nails. This salon was recommended by a friend who said I should have Tina do my nails. She was amazing and so much more. Not only did she come in on a day she wasn’t scheduled, but she also helped me with a style I found online that I liked. She worked with me to give me what I wanted. I got a mani and pedi done with fake nails for my wedding. I had never done anything like that before and Tina answered all of my questions. Uptown Nails and Tina made this experience stressfree and wonderful.

What's important to you when you get your nails done? For me it's about craftsmanship and my cuticles. Nail infections are an ever-present problem for me and now that we're traveling all the time, it's important to have a manicurist who will be very careful with my nails.
Tim did an excellent job!! His touch is very gentile and he took great care to make sure my hands were clean, and neatly prepared for the dipping powder.
We decided to play with 2 colors and the results were really fun! Forest and sea! In honor of Seattle and surrounds!
