I just recently moved into Forest Hills and I am absolutely in love! The process of moving in was extremely quick and easy, and the staff was so helpful in making it a smooth process. They have helped me with every question I have had in a timely manner, and they’re very personable. The parking here is much better than I would’ve expected, and every neighbor I have met so far has been so nice. My apartment was extremely clean upon move in, and I couldn’t be more satisfied. I don’t hear my upstairs neighbors at all either which is really nice. I would recommend this property to anyone that

Lets see the Pro's: Super dog friendly with a nice dog wash, nice view (depending on which apt your in), quick access to the bike trail, grounds for the most part are nice and well kept, Maintenance is quick and for most minor issues done correctly. Now The Con's: recently raised their rates 300-500 $$ on all units for what new asphalt some mulch and cpl new light fixtures so not worth it, OMG the foot steps from above each step they take is follow with a LOUD creek all day all night echo's throughout my apt, poor insulation, ventilation system hardly work if at all, quick access to bike trail

I lived here for about 7 months and really enjoyed it. Being right next to the Willamette bike/walk path was super convenient. I could occasionally hear my neighbors above or below me, but I never heard the ones on either side of me so the sound insulation is pretty good. You do have to like dogs to live here though, because there are a lot of them (a plus for me, but definitely not good if you don't like/are scared of them). Staff was super nice and helpful and didn't give me a fuss when I broke my lease term early.

Forest Hills is one of the best apartments I have ever lived at. I would have taken the apartment out of state with me.
The grounds are well kept and even though it is by the freeway it is not noisey like you would expect.
The staff is responsive and nice and they always make sure you have a good experience. They always took care of my concerns. Even during move out the process was flawless.

The office staff is nice and have a great tanning bed! I had asked them before I rented over the phone are you close to a busy road or freeway? I was told NO. I rented it over the phone we showed up and it was right next to the freeway? you can walk to it all you hear is how loud the freeway is and it smells! the apartments are in poor shape no one really takes care of them my deck was rotting on one side dirty old carpet and old nasty fixtures that don't work and have never been cleaned dings all over the walls and cracked windows and missing and torn screens I was expecting them to be really

WOW WOW WOW! By far the best apartment complex in Lane county hands down. There’s no breed restrictions, maintenance team is always fast and on top of any service repairs needed, all the residents are friendly and welcoming, monthly events at the clubhouse, staff is beyond A-1! Corrina has one of the best customer services we’ve seen in a long time. She will take the time to listen to your needs and concerns and address them according and make sure there’s a great outcome. Both Zack and Kiki are always friendly and positive and have a great sense of humor. There’s never been a dull moment

Today my boyfriend called Forest Hill apartments re: availability. Zach answered the phone and was so helpful with answering all the questions we had. His friendly and professional demeanor showed thru the phone call. With that being said we decided to take a look at the complex in person. We were greeted by Zach and he was just as friendly and personable in person as he was Over the phone. He passed us to Corina who is the property manager and she to was extremely warm, caring, and pleasant to work with. She told us about all the amenities, showed us around the property and took us into a unit

The best apartment complex ever! Now that I have lived here and moved across country, I can't help but compare every place to Forest Hills. Literally the most perfect place to live in Eugene, Oregon. The management is the absolute BEST. They care about their residents and go above and beyond to make them feel at home. They host community events and offer awesome perks like random free food in the lobby days, etc. Any issues (not that there were ever really any) are solved with kindness and promptness. The maintenance team was great and did not just half fix things to get out of there and move to

I have lived here at Forest Hills for over three years now. I love it. The location is one of the best perks, it is just a five minute walk to the river path which is great for my dogs. Also a quick drive to the freeways and downtown. There is a large field right behind the complex that is perfect for long leash play for the dogs as well. The amenities are great, gym, pool and spa, bikes for rental, laundry room. I have a nice sized one bedroom which is perfect for me and my pups. The balcony is a nice touch. Of all of the pros I can list about living here the customer service has got to be at

I wish I could say this experience was a good one, but it was honestly one of the least favorable rental experiences I have had. The office staff have their hands tied with the bureaucratic boloney that the owners tie renters up in to make their operation lucrative. By gorging renters they create unhappy tenants, which gets taken out on staff and creates a hostile environment. An example of the exploiting devices they leverage to make money off of their clients: taking deposits in full and charging an inordinate amount for carpet replacement, amounting to much more than had ever been previously

Forest Hills is like home to me, I have raised my two kids here. It was wonderful seeing my son learn to swim in the pool, and for all of us to enjoy the fun family atmosphere they have here.
My washer went kaput so they had to order a new one and they had a new one, ordered and installed within 3 days, impressive!
The office staff is great as well they are always cheerful and fun to be around. I love my apartment, it's so homey and the laminate wood floors are top quality and make it all the more warm and inviting! I have lived here a couple of different times so I have live in several

My wife and I loved living here. First of all let me start by saying that there are things that an apartment complex can control and Things They simply can't. When reading these reviews you have to keep in mind that for the most part management wants to create a great atmosphere for people to live in. The people in the office and management are wonderful! They try their best and their hardest to make sure that Forest Hills is a great place to live! I would definitely recommend this place for anybody looking for a safe and clean place to live in Eugene Oregon. Thank you Forest Hills Apartments.

Oh where to start! Corina, Mia and Kiki, I'm sorry if we misspelt anyone's names, are truly the definition of help. They went out of their way to help us find our new home. I have lived at apartments most of my adult life and not one of the places did the things they did for us. If you're looking for a place with a staff that treats you like family, move here. If you want a beautiful area full of trails to run and restaurants and stores near by, move here. I looked at at least 5 other places and there is literally no place like it. Thanks guys for all you did and continue to do

I am a little late posting a review. I am compelled to do so because now I am looking for a new apartment in Seattle and reading the reviews has really changed the ones I will look at. I lived at Forest Hills for almost 10 years. I absolutely loved it. The apartments are huge, so is the deck. It is really nice having the dining room separate from the living room. I was in a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom with a fireplace and a garage. I considered the garage worth about $200 a month of my rent. The team was always great, maintenance fast. There was a bad manager their briefly for like 6 months

We're from out of town & spent 8+ months at Forest Hills Apartments in Eugene. We looked at all the upscale apartments in town and picked Forest Hills. It has the best location, most beautiful grounds, good maintenance crew, and friendly management. We found the apartment to be extremely clean and well-functioning. The community is very quiet and
pet-friendly. We enjoyed our private patio and the river walk behind our unit. The neighbors were great, the management was very prompt and efficient - we totally enjoyed Forest Hills.

We have lived here 8 months now. They sent us a notice to renew our lease. We have an option. Pay another $125 a month (bringing our rent to $1613 a month) plus the $95 a month in fees ($20 of which is a pet rent and the remainder is "utilities" bring the total to $1708.00 a month, or we can pay $5245.00 am month if we want to live here lease free. This is a three bedroom apartment people. Since we have moved in we have been dealing with ants. Not a few ants but tons. I don't keep a dirty apartment, they are not in the kitchen, they are in the bedrooms. God forbid you leave

Moved in to Forest Village Apartments in August, 2014. Darcy and the office staff, and maintenance crew have been great. the apartment had some upgrades, so nice! The property is well maintained, and beautiful. Moved up to feel "safe"; there have been reports unfortunately of thieves looking to break into cars, etc. That is unfortunate. My other comment is that ...you should REALLY find out who your upstairs or downstairs neighbor would be; I have lived in several different living arrangements through the years; it is the FIRST TIME that i feel like my underneath neighbors are more like

Love my apartments! I'm currently in the second one since moving in with my boyfriend and we upgraded to a larger unit a couple months later! The office people have been just amazing to us, especially in regard to moving! So flexible. I've moved many times in the last couple years but I've managed to stay tied down for almost 10 months extremely happily! Only thing I wish for is a new drier.. Appliances are slightly dated but the maintenance man is very good about keeping them going.

Make sure to read your contracts and triple check the lease dates!!!
When I renewed my lease I requested a 6 month lease, they typed up a 7 month contract instead. I signed it thinking all was ok, 6 months as I had earlier requested. 6 months later my company relocated me out of state and I was left to pay the 1 1/2 lease break. Forest Hills at no time acknowledged that maybe they were just at fault with typing in the wrong date as I was for signing before checking. They told me a contract was a contract and I signed it..ok..but
Question: who signs a 7 month lease anyway!?!
Answer: I did.

I could not have asked for a better apartment complex! I miss this place so much! The price is totally fair, and the places are clean, big, bright and include w/d, dishwasher, patio, and nice kitchen with plenty of counterspace.
The employees are very helpful, wonderful management. I very highly recommend this complex!
There is a pool, really nice BBQ, work out facility, computers and printers for personal use...
And best is it is located on the bike paths right by the river!
