Former Correctional Officer on the P.G. County Dept. of Corrections Emergency Response Team - 14 years experience; Certified in Repelling School; Certified in Tactical Response Training. Certified Instructor in Filipino martial arts, Kung Fu, Tai Chi, Chi Kung, and Shackled Hands. Regional Representative of Ama Guro Raffy Pambuan - 5th Generation Head of the Pambuan Arnis Family System.
Our fun and exciting martial arts programs are taught in a safe and family-like environment. Although our youth students learn how to physically defend themselves, our primary aim is to develop good character traits. Much emphasis is placed on academic excellence in which students are encouraged to strive for excellence through program recognition, awards, and other incentives.
Our martial arts program for kids is one of the best youth programs in Prince George's County. Since 1992, Master Samuel Scott and his partner, Master Wallace Powell, have been teaching kids different forms of martial arts. Our programs are proven to increase children's confidence, discipline, motor coordination, character development, and leadership skills.
Your child will not only learn the art of Kung Fu, but they'll improve their gross motor skills, increase their confidence, improve their self-control, and boost their self-esteem. Watch as your child's confidence grows with each and every martial arts class. During each class, we cover one of the above-mentioned skills with a wide variety of activities that are fun, educational, and will help get your child physically fit.
Parents, your child will have so much fun in our camp, all you'll have to do is shower them, feed them, and put them to bed! Studies show that an unproductive summer can actually interrupt a child's ability to focus, concentrate and learn when they return to school. After all, most children spend their summer playing video games, watching "senseless" daytime television or just "hanging out".

I've been a student at Full Circle Martial Arts Academy for since 2015. I'm glad I attend such a wonderful school. It's more than a school it's my extended family. I love everything about it, the instructions from GM Samuel Scott, my Guros, classmates, and the family atmosphere. We all learn from each other and there is plenty of support on & off the mat. I'm learning discipline, leadership skills, how to defend myself and much more. Since I've been attending I'm more confident, aware of my surroundings, patient, stronger mentality & physically. I recommend my school to everyone that want to defend

When I visited Full Circle in February (2020) , I was apprehensive about taking up martial arts at my age and with no experience. During that first visit everyone was so warm and welcoming, they answered all of my questions and made me feel comfortable and confident. I’ve been training with them ever since. Grand Master Scott and the Guros are amazing instructors and it truly feels like family!

Having been involved with martial arts prior to being introduced with Full Circle, I had a subconscious expectation all martial arts training being somewhat the same. Any notion I previously had has been far, far exceeded!! The focus on all participants having a high level of moral values, respect for all people as well as respect for martial arts, the intentionality around family/ the spirit of family being a cornerstone of that community and the community at large, the commitment to young people being molded into well-disciplined, respectful, intelligent, strong citizens, all those characteristics

My son have been attending Full Circle Martial Art twice week for a years and he has been doing well. It was a family decision to put my son into martial arts program so he could learn how to protect himself and build up his confidence. Full Circle has met all my expectation for my son. There are professional people work there and a great men and women who are good mentors for young people. I will be looking into summer camp for my daughter. I do recommend this school for any child.
