When it comes to your final arrangements, shouldn't you make the decisions? The arrangements you make will reflect your exact wishes and desires. Pre-arranging your own service will help to ease the burden of your loved ones. It will also alleviate any questions, problems or differences, which can occur among family members.
The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) furnishes upon request, at no charge to the applicant, a Government headstone or marker for the unmarked grave of any deceased eligible veteran in any cemetery around the world, regardless of their date of death. When the grave is already marked, applicants will have the option to apply for either a traditional headstone or marker, or a new device (available spring 2009).

They did a very excellent job. Their process was very quick and efficient. They make sure to answer all the questions you may come across and take your calls I'm beyond grateful with Mr. Ledford and his team. 15 days after my father's passing he was back in his country peacefully. Mr. Ledford was very kind and understanding... always making sure we had updates. He made us feel comfortable and welcomed. They have made this difficult time more easier for our family. I 100% recommend them.

We called the Funeral Home and spoke with Braxton. He helped us coordinate the funeral with the clergy, our extended family members, the service and transporting my brother back home to a different country.
We are very thankful for his help, he truley cared and was professional as the process was smooth and we had no issues.
Braxton always answered our calls, responded to texts and kept us informed every step of the way.
I would highly recommend Ledford and Braxton, they are a great team and our family still talks about the service and how well it was handled.

Kyle Ledford and his staff were exceptionally helpful when my mother went home to be with Jesus, 7 years ago. And I have been referring my friends and loved ones to them ever since.
