Never expected this third time to be such a bad experience!
We have been waiting for a pair of glasses for the past 3 months, and we are still waiting for a NEXT week update. After numerus follow-up phone calls and store visits, we have been hearing repeated excuses, such as, on the delivery truck and should be here tomorrow; lab can not find the your frame; will call you back this afternoon; lab will ship directly to your home, etc., etc. I am now really tired of having to initiate the calls for something we paid over $300 out of pocket costs (not including insurance covered costs). The eye exam is detail and good. However, the owner requested me to do the eye exam again even though my previous glass prescription is still valid for another year. After the exam, my eyes sign is as same as last year.Then they tried to sale me very expensive glasses and didn’t want to have explanation. When I did not want that, the owner said they already used my insurance and I can’t go to other places to shop. The results is they claim my two insurances over a thousand dollars and I pay out of pocket over $400 to get a pair of blurry glasses. When I told the owner the glasses are blurry

I've been coming here since maybe 2012, sometime ago, 4 or 5 yrs ago the whole staff changed, new doctors, new administration, and customer service went to it's worse. I requested my contact prescription and they emailed me one completely different than what I tried on during the exam. They were nice to give me two different prescription lenses to try on to see what I liked, and I decided on -2.50 on both eyes and then they gave me a prescription for different number on each eye, I called to tell them and the admin couldn't understand what I was telling her and she kept laughing

Terrible service and pitiful attitude. I went for an eye check up which was ok and was told my sight is good while there is just a little onset of short site which is normal for the age and no prescription recommended.
Since my insurance allows for glasses every 2 years and given the amount of time I spend in front of a computer, asked if I can utilize that for glasses to filter out blue light, Paid for the frame, glasses and when received after 10 days, it had prescription added with out any notification or confirmation what kind of glasses I would like if adding prescription.

I have been going to Zoom for several years and have always been pleased with the service and care. All I am looking for is quick, efficient service, and everyone I've dealt with at Zoom has made sure that my visits are pain-free.
I just picked up my newest glasses from them, and they were perfect out of the box. I was in and out in a minute, two tops. I like that.

My family has been here for years, but their service is really bad. We are considering switching to another optometry. I came here to pick out new frames and found a model that I liked. They wrote down the model number for me so they can order it. I then went to their Fremont location to see more frame styles and any which I would possibly like more. I didn't find any I liked, so I settled for the one I picked in milpitas. I gave the model number they wrote down for me so the Fremont location can order it.
A few weeks later I get a call that not only have they not ordered my new glasses

Originally wanted to give 0 stars, but figured 1 is good enough. I came into the store a few weeks ago since this was the only store that carried the specific glasses I wanted (I usually go to the Fremont location - where the optometrist is absolutely amazing by the way). I walk into the store see the glasses I like and its evident they've been gathering dust for a while so I ask for the doctor to order a new pair for me since I don't want to pay full price for a pair of glasses that are used. I say it maybe 4 or 5 times throughout the meeting to make sure it is understood and am told

The worst visit ever. I did bot receive thorough & complete eye exam. The eyeware I purchased is terrible. The first pair of glasses, the lens started cracking. I went back & was given a new second pair that lens cracked worse than the first pair. I will return for a refund & if denied they will be contacted by my attorney. Scottie Fogarty

Bad just bad they won't give my prescription after the test, when I was paying for the exam I was told doctor would email it, I did not receive email and when I call them they either put me on hold or won't respond properly.
They are keen to take new customers but respond badly to existing customers.

I live in Vegas but since I've known Dr Huang for many years I continue to use Zoom Vision Care as my primary optometrist clinic:
- Once a year I fly here for my eye exam (and to hang out in the Bay Area).
- Her staff and of course Dr Huang always perform fast, professional service.
- I had Lasik done 2007 but since then Dr Huang was the first doctor to tell me that I should use nightly eyedrops ("lotion for my eyes" as she says, which makes sense to me) to maintain my eye health (Lasik usually contributes to eye dryess). So now I use nightly eyedrops.

Unfortunately, I did not enjoy my experience here. I needed new contacts and glasses and this place was nearby so I figured I'd just make an appointment. I don't remember the optometrist's name that I saw but she was very nice and bubbly. There was a lot of miscommunication with my contacts prescription and I was very unhappy about that. In the end, I will say that I do not like the contacts prescription that I was given. I don't think it's right. I quickly ordered more contacts online using my old prescription before it expired which sucks because I shouldn't have

I usually don't like seeing doctors, but I actually enjoy going here. I had Dr. Jeanny Nguy. I don't know if she's new, but she looks really young. She was very professional and pleasant to work with. Bubbly and nice! Answered all my random questions about the eyes. :)
After the examination, I picked my frames. There are so many to choose from, but sooo expensive. (That's why it's 4 stars instead of 5.) The optician went over my frame price and add-ons (more $$$). I get 20% off from the price of the frames that the insurance didn't pay. Yay? It still cost a lot.

My complaint is for Jessica in the front whom I scheduled an appointment with, I stressed my need to see a specific doctor yet when I drove 45 mins to see this doctor and after a 1 hour wait (ridiculous) I realized I got a different doctor. (Fremont Zoom)
