Services
Kali is an ancient word used as a general term for all the Filipino Martial Arts. Kali is a weapons based martial art but its empty hand systems feature some of the most sophisticated techniques and training methods in existence. The weapons training in Kali features single and double sticks, single and double knives, stick and dagger as well as flexible weapons and weapons of opportunity.
Northwest Kali/JKD was founded and headed by Sifu/Guro/Ajarn Christopher Clarke. Sifu Clarke began his martial arts training in a hard style Japanese karate at the age of 18. After only a few short months of traditional training in 1984, he was introduced to the dynamic blend of martial arts training of the Inosanto group through another NW instructor, Cliff Lenderman.
This trial will give you a day pass with access to any of our programs. We would like to give you the opportunity to visit our facility, meet our members and staff, try different programs and see for yourself the culture and quality of our school. There is no obligation, no pressure to join and we provide all the necessary training gear during your trial.

My kids have been going to this school since June, and I have to say I am very pleased. The instructors are very knowledgeable as well as patient. The pricing is very competitive and the class schedule is also very school/work friendly. I am enjoying watching my kids develop these skills that will stay with them their entire lives.

I have been taking the Kali/JKD program here and I have to say this is the most "ego free" martial arts center I have had the pleasure of attending (and I have tried out quite a few over the years). The instructors are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. All of the students I have taken with are sincere and focused on learning/ improving themselves which is really great! Here is the really BIG thing on top of the amazing staff and students: NO EXPENCIVE CONTRACTS OR OBLIGATIONS!
