This company canceled my insurance on my horse without my knowledge. I never received any sort of email, paperwork or a refund check as I had paId for the entire year. The only reason I found out is I contacted them to file a claim. They are now trying to blame me for their own incompetence and now won’t return emails or phone calls regarding the situation. I also had issues with my liability insurance with them. They requested a release form which I sent 3 times and they STILL let it lapse and that was AFTER I sent them payment.

For my wife and I it all started when we spoke with Tom Jacoy. He was friendly, professional, timely, and persistent (good follow through). We never had to go back and find out what was happening with our application or insurance.

Cathy is always responsive and has been able to make informed decisions with her responses to my questions. It takes all the guessing work out, and when I have had issues I just ask and she has an answer even when it is, let me look into this and get back to you within a day, she does. I have usually communicated with Cathy for the few times I have had questions about auto insurance. I am pleasantly amazed that for the few times I have made contact it has always seemed that she immediately knew who I was as if we had just reviewed my policies the day before. Without looking it up I know we have been with Chuck over 20 years and will continue. If you want to be treated like you are an inconvenience this is your insurance company. I have 5 cars and 2 pickup trucks plus homeowners that I insured through Sea-Mountain Insurance Brokers. One of the cars does not need coverage year round (kid away at college) as it is only driven during holiday breaks. The agent said they don't like to add and take off coverage making it sound like a huge deal to do so. Well, see ya Sea-Mountain Insurance Brokers! I don't need you because obviously, you don't need my business.
