First, there was Botox, now there are four FDA approved muscle relaxers available in the United States, with more to come. Muscle relaxers are sometimes referred to as neurotoxins or neuromodulators. This is a thumbs up review for Dr. Monica Bonakdar.
Fall 2021 finds me as a new patient to her. The person who had done my fillers for 7 years retired.
My request was a bit different as I have learned that dividing my injections into smaller treatments (spaced out one or two weeks) works best for me. I have had three sessions in the last 2 months.
She was
1. On time!
2. Graciously honored my request for three shorter treatment sessions
3. Thoroughly explained her approach and the products she would be using
4. Administered the fillers and botox quickly and with minimal discomfort

I have been seeing Dr. Bonakdar religiously since I was 27 for Botox (besides one disaster that she later had to fix). She has given me natural looking results every time. People rarely believe me when I share my age. Her bedside manner is terrific, and she is so gentle! I’m extremely fair skinned and I’ve never left with a bruise. Her staff are the best too. Beautiful facility, amazing people, and the best results. I’ll never go to anyone else!
