Well Looky Looky, I got to go outside for the 1st time in 4mos. God is Good, and I wanna Thank Some of the staff here at "Westgate Rehabilitation Center" and All of My Family & Great Friends & Fans for All your Prayers & Blessings. During the time my aunt was at Westgate, my family and I were able to see how caring and respectful they treated her.

My Name is Beverly Tate and i have worked the rehab unit a couple of times on the weekend through agency. I would like to express how each of my schedules I've had the pleasure of working with two CNA's Pam and Jackie. I cannot praise their work ethics and professionalism enough. They are attentive to the residents and very much team players. They made me feel welcomed and very much informed with the needs of the residents, with all that's going on today!! I just wanted to shout out these two and give them well deserved recognition.

My story at Westgate Hills was a good one. I'd like to mention a few things regarding my stay. The physical and occupational therapy department is wonderful. The CNA Pam on the first floor 7-3 shift treated me with respect and dignity. She is definitely a hard working person. I appreciate the comfort she gave me!

When sending your love ones to a facility for rehab the things you don't expect. You don't expect abuse nor blatant disregard for the resident. My Mother was sorely mistreated. She had a fall on her face. No one informed me. She was retaliated against because she she made a request which was allowed in their rules. Her active daily living rights were violated. My mother 83 years old is home but so consumed with devastation.

Terrible place !!! My nana just left from their and the story she told me was awful. Sad to say that most of the mistreatment came from fellow black ppl, specifically their CNA’s like Ms. Wilson.
1. They didn’t wash her or assist her with washing..
2. They weren’t changing her commode every shift. Another CNA had to tell her that she was supposed to get it changed every shift and to voice it to each cna.. as if it’s her job to tell them what they should know to be doing!
3. She fell on the floor , they said they would tell her daughter.. THEY DID NOT MENTION IT!
4. Ms. Wilson (we don’t

My experience at Westgate Hills was horrible. The administrator Carmella Kane is the purest form of evil that exist. Carmella Kane is extremely rude and disrespectful not only to her staff but to the residents as well. I would not recommend putting your loved one in this nursing home at all. The therapy department is amazing as well as some staff members. But Carmella Kane takes any goodness from this facility with her evil, unprofessional and disrespectful ways. She treats people horrible and feels like because she is the administrator she can talk down to people. I will say Nataye B is amazing

Had a very nice visit with Ruth Ealy Johnson. I worked with her for years before her retirement. Place nice as I could see. Mrs Johnson wanted to visit in the back yard which was very pleasant. Plenty of umbrellas. Also sun which was refreshing. Enjoyed our time with her. Will return. She was happy to see us. Hope you get the Post. Didn't show up bright. Very dull.

I had a family member on the short-term Skilled Nursing Unit at Westgate Hills. I worked with Social Worker Donna throughout the process. Donna was polite, available and responsive to my questions and requests. I appreciate the daily recorded call reporting the facility's COVID status. The Therapists communicated with me along the way. Their baseline level of function report was very helpful.p I even received a phone call when my family member declined scheduled services. The Administrator, Carmella made quite the positive impression on my loved one too. I took off one star because the back patio

I am a physician and have been seeing patients at Westgate Hills for just over eight years. I have grown to love and appreciate the facility and the tremendously hard-working staff. Overall I feel that Westgate Hills offers patients a comprehensive approach for nursing care and rehabilitation services. The facility is well known for its quiet healing environment, natural surroundings, frequent caring attention from the staff and super organized administration and upper level management. Specific standouts include a superb rehabilitation department, skillful and diligent nursing staff, on-site beauty

I work with Westgate Hills Social Services department regularly when patients return to their homes after successful rehabilitation. This can be a delicate, overwhelming and sometimes frightening time for patients and families alike. I am impressed with the level of detail provided by the Social Services Director as well as the Physical and Occupational Therapy departments. This team works well together to ensure the discharge is safe, informed and well organized. Patients and their families can feel more at ease knowing what they can expect as they return to their homes and can be successful in
