We filed for bankruptcy and we've had several case workers, most who were very competent, except in dealing with our Mortgage company. However, this last year we've been basically blown off. Have continually had issues with the Mortgage company and have been told there's nothing they can do. Mainly, however the case worker we were recently assigned, doesn't return emails, nor calls. We wish we would have used another firm, maybe we wouldn't have as many issues with the mortgage company.

I went in because my business failed and I was considering my options (different types of bankruptcies, shutting the business down-closing, etc) they told me my options and were extremely honest. This was a first free consultation which lasted about an hour and not for a single second during my time with the lawyer did I feel that he wanted just to take my money. He listened, told me what I could do in my particular case and what I could do going forward either with his services or by myself.

Although I have issues with certain Personal at this firm concerning my case. Which was almost dismissed due to their lack of attention to my case. It was resolved and currently back on track. Mainly due to the persistence of myself by calling and even showing up to their office again and again till I was able to get the results I needed for my case. Now I'm working with a person who's in my opinion very knowledgeable, caring, respectful and forth going. Her name is TIFFANY GOMEZ. she's been very helpful to any of my concerns with my case always answers my calls and emails in a proper timely matter

The number one concern of this firm is to take your money. If you have questions or issues after your bankruptcy is filed, you will not receive any help from your representative. The attorney you meet with will not be the attorney that represents you before the trustee and will have limited knowledge of your case. Also depending on the attorney representing you, they can be quite rude. Our case manager was also incredibly rude. I hope others have a favorable experience with this firm, but mine was very unpleasant.

I would really like to thank Gina and the Malaise Team for the professionalism and help they have provided me and my family through this process. From the first meeting, through the final audit they treated me with the utmost respect, curtesy, and compassion. While it was a difficult journey, I cannot imagine another Firm being as committed to their client as Malaise has been to me. Thank You Again!!!!!!!!!!

They took my money and never answered my question or phone calls. My attorney himself never took my calls he put it off to his paralegal who also did not return my call. When I reached out to Mr. Malaise I got some of my money back but never even so much as an apology and they kept a chunk of my money for fees. In my opinion the attorney and paralegal who ignored me should have had to reimburse those.

Mr. Malaise and his staff saved our home and car for us. I used to think bankruptcy will destroy my future so I was trying so hard to avoid it. But when I lost my job and about to lose my house and car everyone turned away from me. Even my own family. I went to Mr. Malaise to get the consultation and right away I felt there’s hope. He was so calm, kind, and so understanding of my situation. I never feel like I was being judged like when I talked to my friends. All of the staff were very nice. Every time I go in they make me feel like a family. I am so thankful that I went in and see him that

My husband and I had to file Chapter 13 so we found Malaise law firm. So far has been worse experience in our lives. Mr. Malaise was very nice but the problem is we only saw him for our first consultation. After that we had his other attorney.
We always felt worse about ourselves when we would see him he was not very friendly we never knew what was going on. We were told we had to go see a trustee no one ever explained to us it's a classroom atmosphere where everyone can hear everything going on, the attorney never said anything to trustee.
The trustee was asking questions that we had no

Don't go to these guys. They will take your money and not listen to your needs. I went in and told them I wanted to file a chapter 7 then a 13. I didn't want to file a 13 first and they talked me into it like that was my only choice. I did my homework and knew what I wanted to do but they already had my money. So I failed in the 13 because like I told them in the fist place I couldn't afford the plan payment.
This last time they dropped the ball on me was last week. They were supposed to fax over a consent for to my mortgage company. They didn't. And now it is costing
