I replaced the PSS shaft seals in my 54' motor yacht. I had problems with the first set as they would leak occasionally. I had the shipyard replace both sides. I have so much from the bellow onto the collar, which in turn put a lot of pressure on the grub screws that I placed zinc collars in from of the seal to ensure they don't fail. They still leak. They are the worst seal I have every experienced. My previous boat had the packer box. They are so much better and safer. I would not use PSS again in the future. I will have to pay for my yacht to be lifted out the water again and have

After a couple of month looking for feather props I discovered PYI. Fred helped me with a few questions I had and soon these were installed on my Leopard 58 sailing catamaran and off to the sea we went. After a year of sailing I am so happy I changed to these props, my shafts are not spinning, I have increased thrust in both forward and reverse, and the zincs are very easy to change out. Overall I am very satisfied with this product and would recommend it to any sailor looking for less drag with increase performance under motor. Thank you Fred!

The product leaked from day 1. Complained over and over. Their customer service is lip service, actually an occasional email reply - but that's it.
I emailed about 20 times, to different people at PYI. Only got superficial replies.
Total waste of $500 plus plumbing, filters, and installation.
Don't waste your money or time.

I had been shopping for a feathering or folding prop for my boat for some time. My big thing was improving my reverse as I like to back into my slip (improved sailing performance is a side benefit for me - I am never in a hurry when I am sailing).
