Last year we had to repower with a new outboard. Jacobsen's helped us hang and rig our engine.
This year when the lower unit went out, I called Tom. We had a trip planed and it revolved around our boat.
I dropped the boat off with Tom on a thursday morning of a holiday weekend. By that afternoon a warranty claim was filed and parts were on order. The following Tuseday Tom called me up and siad your boat is ready to go. Unbelievable!
I called around to other friends in the industry. I was told this kind of work would require 8 weeks lead time. In less than a week Tom and his team did what would

The guys at Jacobson's Marine are awesome. I came in and met with Tom when my old motor gave up right in the middle of a short fishing season.
I was desperate to get back on the water right away.
Tom walked me through my options and helped me make the right decision for my boat. In the end I had to get an engine shipped from another dealer and Tom did not benefit at all from that sale.
Even though Tom did not sell me an engine, he prioritized getting my engine installed and made sure I was well take care. The team that did rigging did amazing work and were conscientious about taking good

We first met Tom Ross of Jacobsen's Marine at the Seattle Boat Show this year and were impressed with the Grady-Whites. Ultimately, in late March we traded in our Bayliner Trophy sterndrive for a G-W 24' outboard---the entire transaction went very well. We had a variety of options and alterations and everything went according to the timetable and within budget. Tom was low-pressure and enjoyable to work with, and is full of integrity (he really impressed me when he thought to turn the radar off in the marina during the sea trial). He has a lot of experience with these boats and the industry in

In July 2018 we made a 1300 mile drive one way to purchase our new boat from Terry at Jacobs. There store was clean inside and out. One of the easiest purchasing experienes we have ever had ( most expensive also ).With a test ride we were on the road home in three hours paper work and all. Just one of the many impressive experiences was there employee TJ on our test ride, he is very knowledgeable helpful and honest. So far everything is great and they allways answer our questions todate immediately when we call.

I bought a new Edge Marine in Southern Oregon and hauled it all the way to Seattle for the install of an Etec 250. Terry offered a price that made the trip well worth it. Leading up to the install date, Terry was badgered with dozens of calls and emails regarding the motor, install, and options. (I may be a bit over-thorough.) He handled all inquiries with courtesy and professionalism.
Upon arrival, I was greeted by TJ, the installer. Since it's hard to find people to do work correctly instead of quickly, I walked through the install with TJ expressing my expectations. Even so, I expected I'd

I purchased a new Defiance from Jacobsen's in early 2017. Terry was my salesman and he and his staff bent over backwards to deliver the boat. There are always obstacles that pop up, but there team worked hard and had an easy, customer focused, solution every time. Fantastic service all the way around. I would highly recommend them to family and friends.

Terrible, I had purchased a Parker boat from them in 2007, and had delivery issues and rude salespeople. Now, they are no longer a dealer (I wonder why???) and were rude providing support for a parts order. Terry who is in charge, told me to take my business elsewhere after I complained about their poor customer support and terrible attitude. I gladly did and have the parts I needed being shipped directly to my residence from Inside Passage Yacht Services, who were very professional and customer oriented.

I am always so glad that Jacobsen's is still around. After all of the years I have been doing business with them( almost 40) they are always very personable and accommodating to my schedule. I have had a couple of minor issues over the years and they have always taken care of them without any questions and once they even came to my boat to take care of it. I have bought two boats and at least a dozen outboards from them and I would not even consider shopping or service elsewhere for my boat, motors or outboard service.

I have been a customer of Jacobsen's for almost 10 years and I'm shocked that there aren't more reviews on here! Over the years I have had 2 engines serviced from them as well as bought a new Yamaha. Their shop repair and maintenance was always great with fair prices for timely work. But what has truly stood out was their customer service. While shopping for a Grady White 3 years ago (and again now) they have gone the extra mile to help me with the buying process. Tom Ross's knowledge and helpfulness in particular has been great. Thanks Jacobsen's!

Terrible just terrible. Cranky and very expensive. PLUS the job was not done properly. I had my carberator cleaned out and repaired. They charged over $100hr + parts so I expected it to work. I took it to Canada and it kept stopping. I needed to pull out the chock just to get back to shore. I had it worked on by another guy and he found the carb had been taken apart but the gaskets had not been replaced and the carb still had some gunk........... I did not even bother to go back to them. I expected the same cranky attitude and to be sold a job I did not need. Very unhappy with this old Seattle

I would think twice before doing business with this place. After years of business with this place, last time I took my boat with a Yamaha outboard to have the engine tuned up. Brought it back home, didn't use it til the following year and when I went to start it, I had a hard time getting it started and once running, it didn't run right at all. Called the repair department and explained the problem. Say's it was a year since they worked on it. I told them I brought it in at the end of the season I had no reason to use it until the following year season started. After all these
