When you go to sell gold and silver there should be a few basic pieces of information you should need/want to know when selling your gold and silver. They are market prices of the day, percentage of return you are going to get and making sure they are reputable. The second you walk through the door the market prices are written on an erasable white board hung right in the center of the store. I specifically noted erasable white board because the market changes everyday so you know, Seth, the owner, changes it everyday. I also know Seth is up to date because when I walked in I overheard him talking

I recently went to CC & J to sell a box of old coins that my mom had collected, thinking they would be worth money in the future. Some actually had value, but many were just regular money. They were very patient and looked through every coin, to make sure if any were valuable. To my surprise, some were, and they also took some foreign coins that really had no value. I would definitely go back again with other silver jewelry or pieces, or gold. A very pleasant experience.

I should have done this review before. During last summer, I went to this jewelry store to sell some gold pieces. I was pleasantly surprised by the young men who took care of my husband and I. Jonathan assisted us personally and he was a very nice. I would highly recommended Clarkstown Coin & Jewelry. I will continue to take my jewelry pieces to them.

I have used them several times. Always pleasant and professional with no pressure when selling silver or gold. They valued some coins and did not try to lowball me. Nice to see spot prices posted. This week had a bracelet valued for $280. I went elsewhere and was told $225. When I was leaving I was asked what I was expecting and maybe the could do better. I want and get what is fair at Clarkstown coin. I am glad I checked but I would not go elsewhere.

My engagement ring is 44 years old and was missing a diamond chip. My husband recommended Clarkstown Coin and Jewelry for the repair.
Upon examination I was told one of the prongs holding the main diamond was missing and I could lose the Main stone.
They recommended a new prong and replacing the missing diamond chip and a cleaning.
When I picked up the ring less than a week later, I was shocked as my ring came back unbelievably stunning and I was very pleased with their great and friendly service. I recommend them to everyone!

They have me design one of a kind rings and necklaces.
I have purchased settings and other kinds of jewelry from Seth. I trust them completely
I find their prices on items to be fair and of good quality. Every time I'm in the NY area I go to see Seth to see what else he can either make me or sell to me.
I have sent things back to him from Seattle to either fix or recreate for me. You can't possibly go wrong doing business with Clarkstown gold and coin.

We had to do something that we haven't done before....sell gold. We were going to go to 2 or 3 places to compare. We stopped at Clarkstown Coin and Jewelry first and did not have to go anywhere else! A wonderful family owned businesses. I had picked out a ring and Clarkstown provided options for my fiancé to pick. What happened? This place is great. I was recently looking for a good place to buy my father a gift. He loves gold and coins so I thought I would stop here. Of all the places I checked out this place was by far the friendliest and most informative. They have been around for an extremely long time and that is because its a business you can trust. I tried shopping around to find a better deal but didn't. There is more than gold here and I would stop and check the place out just for something to do.
