Northern Lake George Resort

Couldn't get them to turn on a/c ....bed sucks ..... Not worth 840 a week ...not worth 560 on off season weeks ether....

Great experience ...my husband wanna do the ice fishing...and he got it...He got a big lake trout.
David, the owner was very helpful and answered all my questions without any hesitation ...The accomodation was good despite the reviews. I was not really sure...but you know guys you can pay more for less comfy rooms...I do not regret...defenetly will come back with my family again to catch another trout

Last minute room availability was appreciated but upon arrival, became clear as to why... Straight out of Scooby Doo this resort could provide an adventure for you? The rooms in the lodge were very outdated and the bathroom smelled very strong of cleaning products. The porch view of the lake was nice but was the only access to fresh air in the room as the only window in the bathroom was sealed shut. Also it is bring your own towels currently because of covid 🤷 We were promised a king size bed but it was just two twin beds pushed together on the same platform. We tried to be optimistic and enjoy

Nice quiet place with access to water, rooms are clean but outdated.. showers are rather scary. Power went out Sunday morning, breakfast was really basic but made to order. Waitress barely spoke English.

Highly recommend saving time for a cocktail on the porch before dinner, especially since you'll be ordering dinner first and then waiting before being be seated anyway. Dinner was enjoyed by all. Salad and soup were served with all meals. The celery soup was delicious. Staff were accommodating.

Old fashioned but clean, well maintained, comfortable and quiet. Beautiful natural lakeside setting. Newer housekeeping villas are especially nice for whole family. Off the beaten track.

Taking a spontaneous trip here was one of the best decisions my boyfriend and I have ever made! We absolutely loved everything about staying in the adorable cabin at the resort. From the relaxing fireplace and beautiful loft, to the accommodating service-it was absolutely perfect. Not to mention getting out on the water and looking up at the breathtaking view. We cant can't wait to come back!

What makes this hotel is the view. We will often take our boat here for breakfast on summer mornings. What a dream! While the menu is small, the food is good. The view is great and the feel of the place is truly LGNY. I have never experienced poor service. We go for breakfast about 5 times a summer.

My family and I had dinner here. The food and service were excellent. what a beautiful old Adirondack lodge. You get the feel of what it must have been like back in the day to get off a steam ship and have a satisfying meal. I believe you must make a reservation. I have not stayed here but I've eaten here and it is wonderful. The bartender is very nice.
The pork chops are divine. We will be dining here again. P.S. we did come back and I had a steak it was fantastic! I cant wait to go back next year.
