Lake George Diamond Cove Cottages was established back in the 1950's as a summer tourist destination located on what was known back then as Millionaire's Row, currently known as Lake Shore Drive.We moved to Lake George, NY from New Jersey with our 6 month old daughter Natalya and purchased Diamond Cove Cottages in 2002.

This place is pretty dope. A long thin piece of land hosts perhaps 30 cottages - small single or double family buildings. At the end there is a beach with several toys and tiny boats for free - you can rent kayaks (go early they do sell out). Little private beach where you will meet other guests with nice swimming.

We got a remodeled unit. Of 19 units 3 including ours were occupied. Lovely playgrounds for kids, clean beach. Lake George is mask free except Minnie Ha Ha cruise. Great stable with pony rides too less than a mile down from here on Lake Shore Drive. Had to bring own pillows, blankets & towels post COVID rules they said.

Stayed here over the 4th of July weekend. We arrived after check in time but called ahead to let them know we were running late and it was not an issue. John the owner met and greeted us warmly. The place is next to the lake and available for use by the guest. The lake front is kind of small but charming. The cottages are close to the water. If you want a cottage with a lake view that sits next to the beach request cabin #1. You can go swimming but there isn't a life guard on duty. We rented a 2 bedroom cottage which was small but comfortable. The decor was dated but it's a cottage, just think

My family and I vacationed here for a week this past a July. While we’ve been going to Lake George for years, we’ve never stayed here, and didn’t know what to expect. As soon as we arrived, we immediately felt welcomed by John and his family. He went out of his way to let us know he appreciated the fact that we chose his resort among the many other choices in Lake George. During the course of the week, he personally involved himself in making sure everyone had what they needed, and was having a good time. You got the sense that he knew from experience how families wait all year anticipating
