The tellers are very friendly and helpful. I often get called by my first name and I don't go there very often. I've had nothing but positive experiences.

Always an easy quick stop. They usually aren't busy,think I've waited in line twice. Easy entrance for handicap needs as well as push button door entrance. Stop in and your thirsty, grab a little soft drink.

EDIT: They have since installed a drive up ATM.
I personally love Deseret First and was excited for their new branch. First off, this building has no drive thru, just 2 ATM's. This is the first dip in customer service. Then, when you go inside, there are two random islands and people standing around what they have as the lobby. There is no order and it leaves people feeling confused. I had ask what was going on. HORRIBLE DESIGN. I'm not sure how to pay my bill anymore considering this is the closest one to me and there is no way I'm going to wait an hour in a mixed up line.

Bad service never returning... don't go here unless u wanna get frustrated apart from that they're racist ‍

Sad that they simp DO YOUR JOB not doing business with these people they lost a 18,000$ opportunity

I like everything about this store especially the girl with the curly hair. She is always in a good mood and when I first walked in she gave me a big smile and an amazing high five and experience. This isn't the first time she gave me such awesome high fives. Thanks curly hair girl!

Me and my husband got a HELOC through them and they bent over backwards to make it happen. They got us 80% more on our line of credit then 3 other banks in the area (MACU, Wells Fargo, Bank of America).
We worked with Nick Nielson who explained everything clearly and gave us timely updates on the account set up status. He also helped us also consolidate some other debit which saved us $400 dollars a month. If anybody is looking for an amazing pain free HELOC experience look no further.

I like pretty much overyone in this branch except for a girl there that has curly hair. she is always in a bad mood or something. she needs to get fired she has no customer service whatsoever. so i walk in and the only words that came out of her mouth towards me were (i can help who ever is next) that’s it nothing else i walk up to her and yell her i need to make a deposit. her:... nothing from her. i gave her the money and the account number and still nothing from her coming out of her mouth she hands me my receipt and nothing still i said Thanks and she was still quiet. like what the hell.

Honestly, I haven’t had any issues with the service. I am pretty low maintenance and am not as critical of things I don’t understand (as some people tend to be in their reviews). So far I am pleased with DFCU and their service as well as the services offered.
I enjoy online banking but would always be open to more locations to do banking-especially deposits. I’m still learning what options area available and how I can best utilize those options.

The worst bank or credit union ever, it always takes so long to do anything, even a simple deposit in the drive through. The customer service center is rarely on the same page as the bank, the bank employees are always “preoccupied or trained poorly “. They are unprofessional and lack the ability to resolve anything, everything is always someone else’s fault or I need to call a different department. They have never made anything smooth or easy, this place is the worst. DO NOT BANK here if you value your time or customer service. I’ve been with them for over 3 years, finally I have had enough

I've been banking here for years and they have always been good to me. The staff here are professional and courteous and are willing to help you with all your banking needs. They treat you like family here... well, like my dad's side of the family. Just kidding mom! But seriously though, it's a great credit union to be with.

I was really disappointed with this credit union. They had been charging me a monthly fee by mistake and wouldn't refund my money back to my account after I addressed the issue. Unfortunately, I had to close my account transfer to a different bank because of it.

I really like this credit union. People are very nice here and they supply me with everything I need to help my finances. I only give a 4 star because they don't have the best website/phone app, but it is a good credit union.

A friend recommended these guys to me, so I decided to give them a try when I needed to refinance my car a few years ago. They gave me a rate less than half of what my own credit union was offering me. I have been with them ever since! Great staff and service!

I don't like this credit union. All of their checking accounts have a high minimum balance requirement, or a minimum number of debit card and direct deposit transactions per month. If you don't meet them the you get hit with $10 and $30 fees.

Do yourself a favor and go to America First Credit Union instead. Look up the fee schedules for both of these credit unions and compare.
