Services
Dr. Masuda graduated with a Bachelors in Arts degree in Biology, Magna Cum Laude, from San Francisco State University. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree, With Distinction, from Southern California College of Optometry in 1986. Adding to his educational experience, Dr. Masuda completed a Contact Lens Residency at the University of Alabama in Birmingham School of Optometry.
Computer assisted eye exams, contact lens fittings of all types, co-management for laser and cataract surgeries and frame styling to compliment your lifestyle. Outside prescriptions are welcomed. We participate with VSP, Medicaid, Medical Eye Services, Davis Vision, EyeMed, Secure Horizons and Spectera.
The Optomap is a comprehensive method of evaluating and monitoring various eye conditions. This latest medical technology assists our doctor in viewing the retina to detect early signs of eye disease as well as diabetes, heart disease, hypertension and cancer. This allows our doctor to determine the best course of action.
Dr. Masuda is committed to obtaining the latest optometric equipment. Utilizing a flat-panel LCD monitor, vision is measured by an electronic visual acuity system. In addition, a computerized autoperimeter is utilized to assess peripheral vision. Employing a computerized imaging system, digitized photographs of the external or internal structures of the eye can be captured to assist with analyzing and diagnosing eye conditions.
Dr. Masuda is an affiliated eye doctor with the TLC Laser Eye Centers. As an affiliated eye doctor, Dr. Masuda provides pre and post eye care for his patients receiving laser corrective surgery at local TLC centers. TLC Laser Eye Centers use the most recent, proven technology for your vision correction.

ZERO IN CUSTOMER SERVICE! I would just like to say that Lenard is the rudest person ever. I called he told me they closed in an hour. I showed up, he greets me at the door and says it's "appointment only". I told him I just called and you said you closed in an hour. He told me "well you asked me a question and I answered it" and walked away and closed the door. I called back to talk to a manager, Lenard answered I asked him why he was being rude and he hung up on me. Dr. Masuda and his in-house lab guy Leonard are top notch. Dr. Masuda does a thorough exam that includes retinal imaging and a complete evaluation of the retinal images. Leonard will take the time to perfectly align your frames even if they are totally out of whack. Basically a good old-fashioned office with great service.

Today's appointment for Tia and he went into great detail about her options and was patient with her and Leonard translated for her. Best team ever! Thank you Rosie for squeezing us in and I'm glad we were seen. We will be back and Dr. Masuda is a rock star with his floral/Hawaiian shirts! My son always wants to see his shirts!

I have been going to Dr. Masuda for the past 2 1/2 years and I am the happiest I have ever been. I have always been told that I had dry-eye but in reality it was that i needed glasses and now my husband is going to Town Center Optometry. Both the Dr. and the Staff are super awesome and so friendly, they all have the best sense of humor and I always come out of the office laughing. Thank you Dr. Masuda for all the testing you do to pin point the problem and let me see clearly again, you are the best ever.

NO stars! Zero! I was super disappointed how they treated my sister and mother. They showed such a careless behavior. Telling my sister she might have Glaucoma and showing no compassion, and then saying she might not, we need to refer you to the specialist...super confusing. Why would you lay this highly sensitive topic and then say we are not sure?
Also they don't keep their word. Masuda promised to write a letter to my sisters Pediatrician so they can refer her to a specialist and when we went to her Doctor she had no idea and said the Optometrist did not write or let her know of my sisters

If your DRY EYES and looking for a contact fitting, don't bother with this place. I've had dry eyes for a while now but worn contacts until I ran out about 8 months ago. I decided to give my eyes a break and wear my glasses. When I decided to go back to contacts I called here and was advised that they do dry eye/hard to fit contact fittings. When I arrived I was tested and asked questions about health/family health n told I have "severe dry eyes" I asked soooo what can I do or what are u recommending?

I am from out of the town, I was in need of an emergency contact lens and I called 10 different optometrist and no one cared nor did they give me any pity! Then finally! I called here and the receptionist was so sweet and nice!!! omg, I told her my problem and she listened.. took down my number and had the doctor called me back to see what he could do.
When he called me back, i was so relief because he was willing to help me and give me a trial pair for FREE!!!! This doctor is just the nicest, sweetest and most caring person ever!! He really really really cares about people!! basically everyone
