Whether you are struggling with past or recent trauma, anger, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, relationship concerns or marital issues, it is important that you know you do not have to be alone in this journey. You deserve someone who will listen intently, understand fully, and provide an open, supportive, and non-judgmental space to rebuild through.
No problem is too great to overcome if you are willing to do the work. Therapy helps you develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships, become free of old patterns, or simply find ways to process pain or memories that have kept you feeling stuck. It is a healing process that allows you to not only start feeling better but gain insight, awareness, and ultimately begin trusting your intuition and experience.

Mental health is complex, and it would be a lot easier if we were like cars. Busted radiator, no problem, tink tink tink, and back on the road. Unfortunately, we don't work that way, and be weary of those who say they have a simple answer or your particular Allen wrench. Maybe at this point you have even been down the psychiatry path but found no relief.
When you have experienced trauma, it can be excruciating. You may feel at a loss as to how to process what you have been through or how you can even start to heal. You may have spent most of your life trying to avoid the trauma you had experienced as a child, only to have it resurface over and over again, disrupting your ability to function and live a life consistent with what matters most to you.
The emotion of anger is a normal and natural human emotion that we all experience. It serves a variety of adaptive functions. From a survival point of view, anger helps signal that there is impending danger, which then triggers psychological and physiological processes related to goal-seeking and/or self-preservation.
Throughout the course of our years, we all experience a loss at some point in our lives. In fact, statistics show that 1 in 5 children will experience the death of someone close to them before 18 years of age. Feelings of grief and loss are not always associated with death, however, but commonly surface after a loss of some kind - whether it is the loss of a loved one, a severed relationship, a pregnancy, a pet, or a job.
