I'm an experienced, licensed psychologist who has been helping people get "unstuck" from unhelpful behavior patterns for over 20 years. Whether you're facing a temporary, difficult life situation or struggling with more long-standing problems like depression or anxiety, I can help. My style is direct and active - I don't simply nod my head while you talk.
Click the arrow now to watch a brief introduction video to what Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is all about. Watch this video to learn the single most important thing you need to know about how to deal with anxious thoughts. You may be surprised to hear what it is! This is the first of a 3-part video from Anxiety BC of real people who chose to do CBT Therapy.
Recognizing anxiety or depression isn't always easy. These self-assessments can help to see whether you're experiencing any signs or symptoms of depression. These self-tests can't give you a diagnosis of depression or anxiety but they can help you to determine whether speaking with a qualified, licensed mental health professional for further evaluation of your mood would be helpful.
Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, also known as CBT for short, is a research-based form of psychotherapy. Because there is so much evidence demonstrating its effectiveness, it is "the gold standard" for the treatment of anxiety and depression. The research shows that in many cases, a 12 to 16-week course of CBT is just as, or more effective, than medication alone.
If you do not see your plan listed, please ask us about it. In addition, if we are not a participating provider with your particular insurance company, we may be able to see you on an "out of network" basis and can assist you with this process. Some people decide not to use their insurance for privacy purposes or because the service they are seeking is not covered by insurance.

Integrity Psychological Services and Michelle specifically have helped me alot this past year. I feel heard and seen and understood by someone. Michelle has guided me to understand my certain issues or problems and that I am not alone, that my problems in life can be overcome and that anxiety doesn't have to cripple you. She has excellent advice. I recommend this group of therapists and psychologists because they have always billed me properly (no issues there) and based upon my sessions with Michelle, I have a positive experience. I had to make lifestyle changes. That was the basis for what Michelle

I thought I was matched well with a therapist,
but after going there for several months, I missed a single appointment and was charged 98 dollars. That just seems like an insanely high amount of money to charge someone for missing one appointment. It seems crazy that they’d charge one of their paitents almost a hundred dollars for missing one appointment. I was also having my time changed up frequently due to my therapists openings, not her fault, but it’s hard to remember when the date/time changes multiple times a month, which just adds to the frustration.

After only seeing Allison once, we scheduled sessions in advance for the same day and same time every other week. I proceed to get to my session on time the following week after getting stuck at work and rushing to make sure I got there, she was outside smoking as I’m walking in and tells me she “double booked” and asked if I could come back the next day because she had someone else in her office. Are you kidding me? I live over a half an hour away and also sat in traffic to get there. COMPLETELY unprofessional. And to top it off, she NEVER called me after this to see if I was still coming
