Dr. Uzowulu was born in Nigeria, completed his medical training in Hungary and Family Medicine Residency at University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston. Board Certified in Family Medicine since 2010. Dr. Uzowulu incorporates his experience as a Hospitalist and Emergency Medicine physician in his practice, which allows him to care for a broad variety of acute and chronic medical conditions.
Choosing a doctor for the entire family isn't easy. A family has members from various age-groups and health conditions and they will require different kind of care. While some people might make compromises on the quality of healthcare they receive, most won't be willing to do that. I have been searching for a PCP for a while and have even established care at a few places that I would never return to. Jessica at the front desk made me feel welcomed and was very helpful. Josie drew my blood which is normally a process that I am weary of and she made me feel comfortable and was very kind. Dr. Uzowulu was funny, informative, and made me feel comfortable as well. My overall experience was amazing and I cannot recommend this office enough.

Dr. Uzowulu and his staff are wonderful. I had some medical issues that required prompt attention, about two year ago. Unfortunately, I did not have a primary care physician, in San Antonio, at the time. Most places had wait times of 4+ weeks, for new patient appointments. Due to the nature of my health issues, Comprehensive Primary care made a concerted effort to get me seen quickly. I was able to get an appointment within a few days. I have been a satisfied patient, every since. If you are honest with the doctor, and treat the staff with respect, you will be very pleased with the quality of care

Experience here was horrible. I booked an appointment her based on reviews that stated this doctor takes his time with every patient, he take his time with his patients and listens, and that he is very knowlegable This was anything but that. I was told when I booked this annual physical for my husband that it can be a annual physical as well as sick visit for other concerns. However, at the visit, those concerns were never addressed! Dr. Ozowulu is a god send to our family. Hands down he has given us the best care we have had in a long time. Finally we have a great doctor. Staff is wonderful. Only complaint would be the music just needs to be turned down a bit. It’s good for the staff but as a patient you want the sound a little softer. honestly if it was full blast I‘d still see him!

Belinda, the doctors "office manager" will cause him to lose a lot of patients. She is rude. Full of attitude. She doesn't need to be at a position where she talks to anyone. She misrepresents that office. Doctor is great but his staff definitely needs work. Thanks for treating my kids doctor but until you get better staff, we will go elsewhere. It's NOT worth the drive.

Dr. Ozowulu was very patient and thoughtful with his evaluation and diagnosis. Made me feel that my business was appreciated and my health was his top concern. Nice to find a great private practice in a city filled with corporate run patient mills.

Dr. Obi is hands down THE best Physician I've seen in years! He's implemented this novel approach with his business in medicine, The patient centered approach. It's about time! And I'm honored to trust him with my family's medical care. With Dr. Obi you won't get the standard 45 second timed "quickie" exam. Dr. Obi sits with you, listens to your concerns, you get his careful diagnosis, and follow up if needed. He's accessible! And very GOOD at doctoring!
