Services
Lawson Funeral Home was established in 2001 by Steven S. Lawson in Neptune, NJ. Always in pursuit of his dreams to one day own and operate the funeral home out of it's own location, the business moved to Tinton Falls, NJ. A property was purchased in 2008 but unfortunately the US economy was in economic peril, and the project was placed on the shelf for some time.
A funeral represents an opportunity to honor the meaning of a life. It is a time for sharing and sympathy. You and your family are at the very center of the process and the significance will determine the choices you make for the services. Assisting in arrangements for cemetery space, grave opening and closing, flowers and monuments.
There are many good reasons to plan ahead. Some plan ahead because there will be no one who is capable of making responsible decisions. Others have a definite preference concerning their funeral service, and they want their families to be informed and involved in those decisions. Many people pre-arrange because they like the peace of mind knowing there will be adequate funds to cover funeral expenses.

Words cannot express gratitude our family has for Mr. Lawson and the service he provided our father and our family. Steven’s comforting disposition, sincerity, compassion, sensitivity and attentiveness was above and beyond any other. Steven was very accommodating having to rearrange our date and time due to the pandemic. Steven’s knowledge and expertise was paramount in helping our family navigate through a very difficult time and hard choices. The Lawson staff transported and housed our fathers remains with the upmost care and respect. Steven coordinated the arrangements for The United States

I am a poet by nature and by Divine Gift and yet...
I have no one word that can suffice or encompass, the service, professionalism, compassion, courtesy, sincere consideration and the genuine out pouring of care that Steve Lawson bestowed upon My Dear Father and I.
First off, My Father's (Charles L. Perry Sr) Funeral isn't until Friday, January 17. So, why my review this early.
My reason...The last time that I saw my Father was on Monday, December 30 in a hospice center in Aldie, Virginia. As my Father looked up at me, all while battling Severe Dementia and I mean Battling.
I took his hand

Lawson Funeral Home & Cremation Services is the gold standard for what an operation transitioning loved ones, and those that love them, through the toughest period in their lives, should be. They cover all the bases from A to Z, low-end to high-end, with the most personable of attention and dignity. They work both for and with you to give you the most humane experience possible, no matter what the circumstances may be. Expect to feel like family. I wholeheartedly endorse and bless this business, and Mr. Lawson, who represents it so very well. Many thanks and God Bless!

The Lawson Funeral Home should be your first stop for burial and cremation services. They were kind, helpful, and patient with us. They explained all the options and helped us make an informed decision. Every phone call and inquiry was professionally handled. I also like to recognize Steve Lawson. He is a professional business person who has a great personal rapport with his clients. Cost was very affordable and they understood when we were delayed with final payment due to insurance paperwork. Five star service all the way.
