Conveniently located on the Dutchess Rail Trail. Go for a walk, then out to lunch or dinner. Food is good & very reasonable. Service was great & no problem getting separate checks for 14 of us! Only reason for the 4 stars, it lacks ambiance. Will definitely recommend for the food, service & proximity to Rail Trail.

Terrible... they use select grade beef for burgers and charge the $ for choice grade. $14.95 for a cheeseburger w/fries!! They also charge $1.00 for raw onion .... ridiculous.... burgers are dry & tasteless .....select grade beef ..... spend your money elsewhere ....... also, $2.75 to add bacon.... we did our research.... no other eatery charges $2.75 to add bacon! Don't waste your money 😀

Very average bar/restaurant. Had a Greek salad with pita meat and found it to be, quite frankly, average. The salad was good although for $13.99 I really expected more than two cherry tomatoes, two pepperoncini pep kipers and two stuffed grape leaves. The real kicker was there were no (zero), olives. When I asked the waitress (who herself was very good) about the lack of olives she replied, "are there normally olives in a Greek salad?" - When I commented to the hostess/manager, she looked stunned. The food here was outstanding. I had the chicken souvlaki with greek salad. This also came with ff. The food and service were definitely a 10. Our server Elon was the best!! Highly recommend this place. Hubby had a pastrami rueben platter. All I can say there was not a crumb left! Excellent, Excellent, Excellent. Will come here anytime i am near the area!

Our go-to spot in the summer for a fun meal with very nice servers! We always sit on the deck with our dog and they make us feel very welcome. They have one of the best ceasar salads anywhere! The appetizers are good, the entrees are solid, the drinks are yummy, and the desserts rock! Ample parking, right on the rail trail, and far enough away from the road that it's peaceful. Don't come here expecting anything fancy, it's good ole fashioned fried food, served with a smile!

This was a great dining experience. I had the slab of ribs and my daughter had the turkey burger. The ribs wet very moist, seasoned well and fell off the bone. I didn't need a knife for anything! The barbecue sauce was slamming. It came with baked potato an corn on the cob. This was a lot of food and I could only eat a third of it.
My daughters burger so very tasty and grilled well. I don't like anybody's turkey burger except hers but I will order one from there again. The slaw was great as well as the sweet potato fries. Very friendly staff nice spacious booths and fabulous

Great food, amazing portions, extraordinary service, lively atmosphere! Sports/News TV's for those interested. Went with friends and family. Chicken Marsala with lots of mushrooms was tasty, Bourbon Chicken explosive, Deluxe Burger cooked to perfection and Salmon with Spinach and Rice fresh and delicious and perfectly prepared. Look forward to returning to this gem at the beginning of the rail trail in Hopewell Junction!

Disrespectful service, misleading specials, and soured beer.
Ordered Nachos and they arrived within 2 minutes.
When asking the sever about the special panini, she was unclear about its contents and had to ask the kitchen.
We ordered the special panini with modifications and a kids meal of French toast.
When the meals came out, the french toast was actually leftover garlic bread, and the "prime rib paninis" contained some kind of grey, discolored, and awful smelling meat that was so dry it might have been a shoe at one point.

Lovely, homely tavern where locals revel familiarly with one another. Very friendly barmaid. Gorgeous fish tank at the entrance with vibrantly blue fish. Free, fast passworded wi-fi. Nothing eaten during this review. Ample parking outside, and nearby runs the Dutchess County Rail Trail, which also offers more nearby (free) parking.

Seven plasmas playing a football game. Homely feel to the place, observed by the familiarity between the locals and the barmaid. Clean and spacious... and after a few stud drinks, you can walk it off along the Dutchess County Rail Trail which courses next to Daddy O’s. Twenty beers on tap, and full bar with bottom- and top-shelf liquors.

Just attempted to order stuffed salmon from on line menu. Only to be told by hostess that they don't have stuffed salmon. Walked in with the take out menu, has stuffed salmon on it. It turns out that I guess the hostess is related to owner because she cannot read an English menu is unbelievably rude and does not know what is on Daddy O's menu.
