10/21/21: chicken and broccoli, cooked well but hardly any sauce? Too much oil sitting on top.
Pork spare rib tips, flavored well, a little too much fat. A little undercooked also meaning they should char them a little more.
Wonton soup, strange sweet broth, the wontons were pretty good.

This spot gives amazing service and delicious food. One of my favourite places around here. The food and drinks came out quickly and the rates were affordable. I recommend this place.

I have been ordering here for over 6 years and the past 2 orders have been late & food cold. From order to my door 1 hour & 50 minutes...and the food was cold... this is the last time I get food here. Called and told food on the way, 20 minutes later and I live under 6 minutes away.... Stay Away.

The food is pretty good it's just they cannot get an order right to save their lives. Last three times we have went we were missing food or had the wrong order. Will not be going back it's not worth the trouble sorry.

Pleasantly surprised by this place. It's in a small strip mall on Beekman Road, and you may pass it if you're not looking. Stop. Order from here as the food is outrageously good. Quick service, delicious food and they deliver within a radius. They are in our rotation of take out.

So good! Been going here for years and it's always consistent. We usually get sweet and sour chicken, pan fried wontons in garlic sauce, beef chow fun, general tsos chicken and any shrimp dish!

So disappointed with my order of boneless spareribs which were 80% fat and I also ordered sesame chicken (white meat) which had maybe a quarter inch cube of chicken and the rest was all breading. Inedible, both dishes

We have been eating here for 20+ years!!! It absolutely is the best Chinese food in town, or within a 5-7 mile radius where we have MANY Chinese restaurants in this area....
I've actually been visiting family in Poughkeepsie, and drove all the way to here for dinner....
You won't be disappointed, just if you plan on getting dinner on the weekend, order it earlier, they are super busy. Offering pickup, and delivery!

Crab Rangoons are the best I've had. House lo mein is great! But don't get the pad Thai .. it's not authentic and is more like noodles with peanut butter.

Don't let looks deceive you, it's a typical take out place, but the food is very very good. We order from there often. We've tried other places and they just don't get the same good taste. Owners are very nice also.

On the hunt for a new Chinese food place. The food at Empire Wok is fine the issue is they NEVER get the order right anymore.

The past 5 times I've gone there, I've had to go back because an order was messed up. The teenage son who answers the talks really low when he answers the phone and then argued with me rather than admitting that he made a mistake. It's either they give me lo mein instead of fried rice, when you ask for plain fried rice it's not plain, and when you ask for a large they give you small.

It's too frustrating to order here because I literally have to

I'm going to give this restaurant five stars even though I want to give it for four. We came here as a family of four people and it's better if you order takeout because the establishment inside isn't the best. When we came in we ordered food with a very young boy at the front desk. it's clearly a family business. We sat down we sat down and we brought our food and started with boneless ribs. The ribs were absolutely phenomenal and very delicious.

Great food best in the area everything is good..we get a lot of delivery at least once a week. .shrimp with lobster sauce..general taos. . Hot and sour soup is fantastic. .spear ribs fantastic

The food is great, but it's not the best place to sit down. It is really a take out or delivery kind of place
The owners are the best. After awhile you start to develop a regular customer relationship. They are friendly. That and the food is better than anything else in dutchess county.

Picture it...October 2014, 3 adults and 2 children drive up from Manhattan to go Apple picking on what we would later find out was one of the busiest weekends for Barton Orchard.

After being in a car for just over an hour to go about..2 miles...a tiny strip mall appears. Kid #1 is kicking the drivers seat, Kid #2 needs changing and the Driver (me) is kinda over this field trip.

We walk into Empire Wok. Not much to look at but we order, the staff is lovely, if not a little hard to understand. The food was so much better than expected. It wasn't salty or greasy and the portions were more

This is ideal for takeout only. It's not a place that you want to sit down and eat in. With that said, do not let it discourage you from picking something up. The food is great and beats a lot of the other Chinese take outs in the area. Prices are all about average and your food is almost always ready in 10-20 mins. They deliver too.

Not much to look at but the takeout is excellent!! Never had bad food from here. Yummy dumplings & scallion pancakes! Just glad it's in my neighborhood.
