Here at WZ Ranch, our horses are our family. We'd like to invite yours to stay with us. We offer Short-term Horse Boarding Facilities in our spacious indoor stalls, comfortable stalls and paddocks, indoor-outdoor runs as well as our 40 acres of lush pastures. Electric hookups available for LQ/RV overnight camping.
Our Equestrian Riding and Event Center includes grassland, a large round pen, and indoor arena with excellent footing for training, events, and riding activities year-round. Horse and rider shuttles provided to local Colorado Open Space Equestrian Trail Heads. WZ Ranch introduces new concepts in Short-Term, Full-Care, Overnight, and Horse Boarding services to accommodate the Traveling Horseman, located between Colorado Springs and Denver.

WZ Ranch is a family owned and operated equestrian boarding and event facility accommodating the traveling horseman. Finding a site that can provide peace of mind and a restful stay for the traveling horseman while recovering from a long day of trailering is especially difficult and thus WZ Ranch was born.

Stayed two nights, the facility is spotless, so clean that you couldn’t tell that there were horses there before us. Owner was accommodating and professional. I felt like my horses were completely safe in their care. They even sent me updates to let me know how they were doing! They’ve truly set the bar high for the rest of our trip across the country. Highly, highly recommend!

Wow! So glad to see old school customer service of caliber especially in our emergency. Our horse trailer loaded with horses, broke down on the interstate and Tom saved the day! We were referred to Tom and the WZ Ranch by another horse boarding facility which speaks volumes! Tom was busy but said he'd do what it took to come get our horses and care for them until our trailer was fixed. He even recommended a wonderful trailer repair place that was also fantastic. Love this kind of old school kindness. Tom saved our trip as we traveled up to Wyoming with our horses. Thank you!

Tom Ellis deserves a raise! I asked if they had the option to only have two riders in my group and he said that they unfortunately don't offer individual tours and we would have to pay for the whole group but went beyond out of his way to give me all of the information possible to get the best options available for me and was very pleasant and friendly about it the entire time! Thank you for the wonderful business!(: especially during holidays!(:

5 stars is not enough! From the second we arrived we felt welcomed and at home. Tom and Phyllis took amazing care of us and our horses.
The facility is spotless,the barns and riding arena are amazing and the scenery is breathtaking. If you are overnighting, looking for a weekend getaway (with your fuzzy kids), or just need to have someone watch your horses so you can get away, WZ should be the only place you look.
