This is our most streamlined custom order inquiry process! We will make our best effort to get back to you the same business day or the next day the latest (please note, we are closed Mondays). All custom cakes and desserts are made to order and are priced upon receipt of this online Custom Order Inquiry or in-person consultation.
Skazka Cakes uses strictly highest quality ingredients in all of its products. All our cakes are freshly baked from scratch with proprietary recipes. We strictly Do Not use commercial mix sponge. There is no compromise with our cakes when it comes to flavor, as we use carefully selected gourmet quality fillings, which make our cakes' flavors match its exterior looks!

This shop has a high rating for a reason- delicious cake for an great price! Megan, who I corresponded with on the phone was incredibly helpful and accommodating. When I requested a half-Rice Krispie cake, they delivered! The birthday boy was pleasantly surprised to receive a Tesla cake, as it was done so well. I feel so lucky that this shop is located in the tri-state area, as I plan to use them again and again! Thank you so much

Excellent service, Skazka cakes is really what you want for all your cake needs! I pitched an idea and they delivered beyond my expectations! Red velvet was delicious . When I went into the shop it was clean and smelled amazing. I grabbed two mini cheesecakes when I went to pick up my order and they were so tasty, creamy and not too sweet! Will definitely be revisiting for future celebrations !

With a convenient location and ample parking, Szazka is easy to locate and to get to. Their selection is plentiful, their designs are elaborate, their flavor is exceptional. In Russian, "skazka" means fairytale. It feels like a fairytale once you bite into their amazing desserts! I have used them for casual get togethers, as well as for custom birthday cakes. I won't hesitate to use them again!

An absolutely beautiful and delicious wedding cake for our small, Covid-belated celebration with family! The flowers were so pretty, and the purple, pink and white matched the Advent colors of my wedding dress, which I'd texted to the bakery. Inside was lovely chocolate cake with a filling of chocolate mousse. Skazka Cakes was very responsive, prices are very reasonable, and their delivery to the restaurant was smooth. Highly recommend!

I could have not picked a better place to have a cake. The detail on this cake was awesome. The flavor was so good. The staff were amazing. My new place to pick up a cake maybe not just for a birthday. The price for my cake was well worth it and was under my budget. Megan made the ordering very easy and walked me through the process. She was such a pleasure to work with.
The cake had three tiers so we were lucky to have three different cakes. Their cake flavors and fillings are amazing. So many choices. We chose a vanilla cake with strawberry mousse filling with fresh strawberries, a red velvet cake with cream cheese mousse and a chocolate cake with chocolate mousse filling. Something for every taste and pleasure!

Clean and presentation is very nice .One can see that that products are well crafted But like so many establishments in Bergen county the service is the Achilles heal. You ladies don't know how to box or promote the merchandise. Also, and as is bakery, dry cleaner tradition there is no price list. Is that asking too much? The shops I frequent in Manhattan on the upper east side post their prices. So why can't you? I wish you luck and hope you take these thoughts to heart. Thank you.

We ordered a smash cake for our daughter's photoshoot. I showed her a pic I found on Pinterest and the cake she made looked even more beautiful - it matched exactly with our color scheme. I got a small taste (since it was smashed) but it was yummy and I would definitely order another cake from her in the future! She was quick to respond and very friendly.

Tatiana is amazing!! She was an active listener when trying to understand the kind of cake I wanted for my boyfriend's Nike Air Max themed party and was able to give me several ways we could go with it. The design alone was nothing short of impeccable and skillful. We ordered dulce de leche and it was so decadent and moist. The party was completely blown away. I ended up recommending her to a friend who also loved her work.
My only regret is that I didn't write this review sooner.

"Highly Recommend" is exactly what this is! First time ordering from them. Upon pick up the owner is extremely friendly and welcoming. The cake was PERFECT, even the minor details were perfectly done. Everyone from the party kept complimenting the way the cake looked and once it was time to eat the cake, everyone's cake was gone from the plate within few minutes. Everything was just perfect and we have Skazka Cakes to thank for that. I will definitely order more cakes from them.

I was challenged to find a cake for a retirement party. The retiree didnt want 'just any old cake' and so with limited time (less than 5 days) and the help of Yelp I was able to find Skazka Cakes. She was WONDERFUL to work with. Responded quickly, took my "guy" description and turned it into the most beautiful cake that was ALSO really delicious.
