Jacks is the best. Adorable, delicious casual dining spot. Chris and his staff are great. My favorite meal is the portobello sandwich with Cajun or sweet potato fries. We always love coming here. Bonus: their catering is also great, we've used them several times for this and are always very satisfied.

What a great find for breakfast. This retro style diner cafe had great service and excellent food. The menu has the traditional breakfast options, but the kicker are the specials! I tried the avocado toast with poached eggs with a side of the homemade corned beef hash. Everything was delicious down to the coffee! The inside is small and they have a nice sized tent for outdoor seating. Highly recommend Jack's.

Jacks cafe is the perfect hole in the wall diner that gets you. You'll find yourself craving it when you move away (like I do). They are mom and pop perfection and never cease to soothe your appetite.
Sweet potato fries, homemade apple pie, crab bisque, salads. They are all amazing.
I once had a steak and egg Benedict and let me tell you, WOW.
I think Covid though has hit this place hard and I feel for them.

The food at Jack's is usually very good service is OK but we were taking a back by the rudeness on the Saturday we went to have breakfast there. They had booked a catering event. The problem was that this was not the first time. You go to a place expecting to have a nice brunch and to be turned away more than once it's very disheartening. Unfortunately due to their non-caring for customers I think we will take a little break from eating there for sometime.

By far one of my favorite spots for a quick breakfast - particularly eggs Benedict! They have so many different kinds, but my favorite is the crab cake eggs Benedict. The hollandaise sauce comes out perfect every time! Very friendly staff as well and plenty of outdoor seating which is nice during these times.

Small diner vibes, excellent service. Their chicken marsala and penne vodka was excellent, although they served us spoiled lobster bisque which is a fair critique of the place, but the chef was nice enough to serve us a fresh batch which tasted amazing.
However, a star less for the price. When you price menu items, it takes into account the whole dining experience, and although I think the place is cozy, it feels more like a small, homey, local shack than a restaurant, and doesn't warrant the prices. The serving size also didn't justify the prices either, since they were charging Carmine's restaurant

The menu here is great but their specials are just ah-mazing!!!!!! I had a special that was to die for! Veal stuffed with shrimp, prosciutto & pesto! OMG....it was SO SO good and SO different! Also, the family that runs Jack's is just awesome. They always make you feel like you are visiting with friends. This is a BYOB which we love and we also love the fact that this place is solidly and consistently GREAT with really super interesting specials. My family and friends have always loved this amazing little restaurant in the heart of Westwood. Chef Chris is always coming up with new menu items even though he doesn't need to, his "regular menu items" are what always brings us all back. I love this place. Great family business with great family values. A true gem in the culinary world.

Solid place for a quick breakfast. I kind of expected a more brunch-esque spot before I got here and it's just a standard diner...so that was a letdown. The food itself was good, nothing incredible or different then any other diner.
I found the staff a bit rude and the bathroom dismal and outdated. Other than that, it's not a bad option for an omelette or sandwich.

We used Jack's Cafe to cater a work event, and it was phenomenal. It was a pleasure dealing with the owner, Chris. He came and set everything up for us and the food was delicious. We had chicken parm, wings, sandwiches, pasta, salad and eggplant. Not to mention, it was super reasonable for all the food you get. Thank you Jack's Cafe!!

First time ordering take out. Got 4 different sandwiches which were okay. Nice to have each sandwich labeled do you don't have to play "which sandwich is this"! I ordered the Don Corleone with sweet potato fries. Don Corleone would not have approved of the sweet potato fries as they were way overcooked, with many being burned, and should not have been served! They did a better job with the Cajun fries my colleagues had! I'll give them another try in the future as nothing was bad other than the sweet potato fries!

Jacks cafe is a little place that hits all the marks. The waitresses all appear to be high school aged, very competent, friendly, and eager to please. The food is delivererd quickly and hot. The menu has many chioces including imaginitive / unusual to healthy choices. We got there 8:30 just before the sunday rush. On a nice day we ger breakfast then walk it off in the park across the street. There are many choices and the portions are ample. Jacks cafe is worth a trip out for breakfast.
