I lived here with my mom as a caregiver from March 2016 until May 2021. During my initial stay, I fell in love with the building, so I applied for my own unit. I was selected from the waiting list September 2021. Everything in my apartments was new, which was a big surprise. The team is easy to talk to and the residents in the building are friendly. I really enjoy being here and give the property Five stars for maintaining such an older building.

I am in the process of looking for a place for my mother and happened to run across Hammond Elderly Apartments while being stopped by a train on Sohl Ave. My first impression of the building is that it was well taking care of. The grass was cut, the grounds were clean, and the place looks inviting. I stopped in to get more information about the property and reached the Service Coordinator office. The Service Coordinator was gently and polite and gave me all the information I need. I will be bringing my mom soon to apply.
