Honestly horrible for the price, broken weights in the gym (also not cleaned EVER) , staff that dont know what they are talking about about housing because they are the cheapest options for owners, fire alarms going off every week in the middle of the night for 40+ minutes, weird security that talks to himself and smokes in a “no smoke zone” yoh , can have music playing on a normal day but when you have 5 people over and its “too loud” you get a 200$ sound fee, pool that isnt taken care of, vending mashines that are empty for weeks at a time, dishwasher has BLACK MOLD and they tried blame

This apartment complex is completely outrageous. They are absolutely awful at keeping things clean such as elevators, floors, hallways, and the trash rooms are completely terrible. This place costs an unbelievable amount of money each month and you get basically nothing for it. Today is probably the 40th time the fire drill has gone off this year. They choose awful times such as 2am and then another one like 4 hours later and they stay on for about 30 minutes. Also, you pay for 24 hour maintenance good luck getting anything fixed within a month. Just in my time of being here over the 9 months my

The rooms are nice but the fire alarm will go off for no reason regularly. i don’t know why this keeps happening but it wakes you up in the middle of the night and is very irritating. That’s a fire hazard too. if there was a real fire and the alarm went off i know for sure no one would take it seriously

I've really enjoyed my time living at La Pointe.
I will say that out of all the apartment complexes in the Lusk District, La Pointe is by far the most superior. La Pointe has what all the others lack -- covered parking, ammentities (pool, gym, courtyard, etc), a maintenance staff and staff in general that are proffessional and engaged with residents and all in all La Pointe is just generally a good place to live.
The only thing that I will say is that for living in a premier complex, you're going to pay premier prices. They're not astronomical but that's something to be

My daughters been mostly happy at La Pointe. Parking is overpriced but we knew that moving in.
My biggest complaint is that they keeping the cleaning deposit. My daughter was home when the cleaners came in to clean her apartment mates room and they did not do the work they were charged the girls for. They sat in her sofa and relaxed. She went to the office to explain and was told there nothing they can do because it's an out side company that dose the cleaning. Sounds like a greedy corporation taking advantage of young people.
One more thing people should know if you want to keep same

Ok - so I'm not going to be living at LaPointe but my daughter is. The rooms are nice - clean and well appointed for College kids. I'm not going to say it's super close but it is about1/3 mile to the corner of the campus. I'll still advise to be overly careful if it's dark outside.
It's moving day, into her apartment. The staff of the complex has applied their collective IQ's of 7! And provided absolutely nothing in terms of assistance, no hand carts, no carts, nothing. You have to carry everything in by hand and mostly up the stairs. This close to THE

My son lived at La Pointe for 1 year and the only positive is that it is well located. The negatives are many:
1) Poor value. For the price, the facilities and, especially, the furniture are very poor/ cheap.
2) Discriminate / profile. My son was accused of doing something he did not do and he was the minority in the group (nobody else was in trouble). Not until I got involved did the “charges” go away, even though there was no evidence of any wrong doing and my son repeatedly went to the office to openly discuss the issue with the front office.
3) Cheat / steal. We were charged an excessive

While the apartments are convenient to campus and reasonably up to date, the lease on check out is highway robbery. That security deposit you paid to start you will never get back. Be sure to save a copy of the check in document if you have to report any issues with broken doors or highly stained toilets. They will conveniently “loose” the… document or claim you never turned it in. Then they will claim a cleaning cost of nearly $1,000 per unit that is split between renters. $500/person in two unit apartment. Won’t rent from this corporation again anywhere!

While my daughter lived here for two years, she had MOSTLY positive experiences. The problem starts when you move out and the amount of money they keep from your deposit. Despite the fact that three people (including myself) spent five and a half hours cleaning the common areas and her bedroom and bathroom (if you have seen the apartments you know it is not a very big space) we were charged $100 in "cleaning fees" because it was "filthy" plus outrageous charges for items that "needed to be replaced". We had a preliminary walk through before we left and fixed the two

TERRIBLE PLACE TO LIVE. Apartment was disgusting when I moved in. They messed up my security deposit with my roommates and now are threatening to take me to small claims court or send me to a collection agency because I won't pay an additional $96 that is owed by my roommate and the girl who was on the original lease. You're gonna get scammed here
