Highland Springs

This was a nice place to live about 5 years ago. It has been steadily declining. The onsite management changes every few months. Requests for maintenance are ignored for days sometimes weeks. The current manager Ty is unbelievably rude and unprofessional. If you want to live with rodents, wasps, and toilets that don't flush properly then this is for you; otherwise I would definitely not recommend living here.

Extremely noisy and inconvenient with all the construction in and around the apartments. Walls are thin and can hear neighbors all hours of the day. Units are old; nothing special.
I do not enjoy living here and would not recommend.

Renter's beware. Don't let the website fool you. Construction on the complex has been ongoing since August of 2020 and continues. We haven't had access to any amenities for months! Because of construction, we (along with deliveries, etc.) are oftentimes required to walk around the building to simply gain access to our apartment. Debris is often found laying around and much of the outside is a hazard. Last, but not least, amid all of the construction, loss of amenities, noise, etc., rent is being raised. Something to consider if you're looking to move in.

Called to see about availability on a 1B. The woman who answered the phone was fairly informative and knowledgeable to all my questions. Unfortunately there is a waitlist, but I am not in a rush to move so that was okay for me. The 3.0 review average is worrisome because it could be worse or better than what people are reporting but give them a call and get a feel for yourself!

The lady who works in the front desk (her name was tay or ti or something with a t) has a major attitude problem. maybe consider getting a friendlier person to be the face of your apartment complex.

As I looked through reviews to move here, I was wary about visiting here because of the reviews. However, Ty was professional, personable, and gave me a lot of great information. I really enjoyed meeting her and seeing Highlands. It IS older than other places so it's not the highest quality but it's cheaper and comes with several perks- close to Bogus Basin/pool/hot tub/etc. At least come look, don't be scared off by the reviews. 😊

Terrible manager alex. Worst rental experience ever. Never been so discriminated against for no reason. I will not recommend this to anyone looking

We loved living here. The management is super helpful and friendly, maintenance was always timely and efficient. Fiber optic wifi was great! Got our whole deposit back except for the standard administrative fees mentioned in the contract. We loved swimming in the pool and hot tub. It was great to be in a quiet, nice area but still close to downtown. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

The apartment and service while living there was good. However good luck getting your deposit back even after told 100% was coming back and beyond contract agreement. Still fighting. Likely heading to small claims court. Feels like a scam.

We have lived in Highland Springs for 4 years and it is wonderful. The other residents are kind, the maintenance staff is helpful and the location is great. Super peaceful but still close to downtown, a gas station and food. We didn't have a washer and dryer to put in the apartment, so they provided one. The roof started leaking a couple of years ago, so they immediately replaced the whole thing. It has a nice pool and clubhouse and pretty grounds. Definitely the best apartment I have ever lived in.
