Sidny's Bagels & Deli

I generally order bagels from Queens. Home with a broken leg I ordered here for delivery. Good bagels. But it cost me $67 dollars to not get a fair distribution of bagels. I ordered 13 Salt, Blueberry style and Everything. My expectation was I'd receive equal amount of choices. Nope. I got one salt (my favorite), two blueberry and the rest everything! I like least everything!!! These days of incompetence and lack of general care. You must stand over your order to make sure you aren't cheated. Then count before leaving. I won't order from here again or order delivery again. Delivery

This place is fine if you have lots of money and no appetite. I understand that times are hard, but that doesn’t mean that you are allowed to completely rip off your customers.
I just paid $10+ tax + tip for the saddest and grossest sandwich I have ever had. Please do not call this a “veggie” or an “avocado and cheese” sandwich when the main ingredients are sliced black olives and gobs of mayonnaise to make them stick to the bread.
Seriously, there was one extremely thin slice of cheese on it and trace amounts of avocado, so little that I was 2 seconds away from complaining that they

Disappointed in my salad. The lettuce is wilted through and through. The toppings seam fresh but can't enjoy toppings of a salad without lettuce. Also, I wish they would invest in organic for the cost of the food.

Despite great food, it's disappointing to see that staff is packing food without using gloves.

This deli serves New York style bagels and uses Boars Head meats and cheeses for their sandwiches (on fresh baked bread). Amazing!

Terrible pastrami and Reuben sandwiches, which contained gristle, were not lean, and were very poorly presented, also overpriced. Ordered 4 potato salads which were paid for but not included. Avoid this place.

Obsessed with this place. Do try the Eggle Pastrami sandwich on a rye bagel it's out of this world. The bagel is so soft and the sandwich delicious. I can't wait to try more. Love the outside area, so relaxing and enjoyable. Such a great spot with great food. A must!

Best bialy and bagels around!! We have ordered delivery a few times and they arrived warm from the oven. The perfect NY bagel!

I am updating this review based on the business owners apologetic response to me. I understand hiring people these days is hard and sometimes a business doesn't get the best employees. I love the food here and appreciate the business owner reaching out. Very professional

Overpriced. Inflation is real here. The "side" of Mac salad comes pretty much in a condiment size container. The sandwich is good, but nothing worth paying 14 dollars for to be going over to next door at subway to fill you up. It tastes good, it's a nice snack. Great service, people are super nice and helpful. Quantity of food & price is the main problem here. It probably is more "quality" then Subway. But not that much better.

Always delicious! The regular woman at the front can answer all the questions and can suggest substitutions. Salads are fresh and delicious and so is all the bread! We come here anytime we can for lunch!

I love the sandwiches and bagels here, hands down the best deli in town. This is the only deli in the area I've been to I would recommend.

I love this place! Their bagels are super fresh and their veggie breakfast burrito is my favorite! My family loves their sandwiches too! The staff is all very friendly and the chef even takes the time to come out and say hello! I can't recommend them enough!

Eggel is good. Worth the 5.50 but to put it as a daily special with a small coffee as 7.75 is not worth it. You only save 10 cents?? Coffee is bleh so I'd rather not save 10 cents and buy Starbucks. But they got me. Won't fall for it again. What kind of special saves 10 cents on bleh coffee 🤣

Tried Sidny's today for the first time! I got the roast beef blt NY style - (extra meat) The sandwich was fantastic! High quality roast beef. The bacon & sourdough bread were amazing. Great sandwich. My wife's turkey blt was just as good.

There was a bit of a wait as the wife and i waited for someone to take our order for what seemed like 5 or more minutes, with a line forming. I think there needs to be a bit more sense of urgency from the staff, but I understand it's a busy deli and the little things need to be done as well. I would definitely come back for sure.

The bagel sandwich with ham, turkey, and cheese had plenty of meat, but was hard to bite through (without spilling the condiments). Bagels aren't as soft to bite through as bread (or Challah), so I'll get that next time.

Next time I got a Chipotle Chicken sandwich, but they were out of Challah so I got it on a torta. I enjoyed the torta, but the overall sandwich was small (compared to the bagel sandwich) and basic, with Chipotle chicken, cheese, mayo, and a small bit of onions and tomatoes. I think the food is little bit over-priced, but it's probably quality meat.
