I was very pleased with Dr.Morariu and his entire staff. The doctor is charming, old school and knows his field. We discussed all the findings of the tests and possible medication, etc. Everyone, the nurse, Adella, Tudor, office staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and professional with regard to my exam, tests, appointments, and getting records from other doctors. They all did a thorough and conscientious job of helping me and eliminating stress. MRI is right across the street and they take appointments promptly at all hours. I had an experience with Dr. Morariu, Sr. that was very similar to that which Donna reported. Dr. Morariu explained the results of neurological testing in a way that seemed calculated to frighten. I felt at the time that he was manipulating me so that I would become a regular patient. I never went back. I did receive a copy of my records and one was sent to my physician. I later learned that the results were normal for a person of my age. I have some suspicions about the discrepancy between his verbal report and what he put in writing (that other physicians would see.) I also overheard him

I just read in the paper where the son drugged his girlfriend at a restaurant and has been arrested!!!
Scary stuff.... he should have his medical license taken away!

Told me my brain had dramatically shrunk but then I read the MRI report that said my brain was normal for my age! After telling me I could come pick up my records made me wait over two hours and then refused to give me my EEG readout which is against the law. Stay away from these guys!

Poor billing practices. Overcharged and they would not work with me to adjust fees. Two years later received a demand of payment letter or threat that they would turn over to collections. Do not recommend.
