As a trusted expert in the field of eye care for over 12 years, Dr Garretson has helped thousands of patients to enhance and protect their eyesight. In the spring of 2009, he founded Premier Eyecare, with the vision of creating a practice that was centered around providing patients with the best possible eye care experience.
Anti-Reflective Coatings have gotten a bad reputation in recent years due to the low quality dipped coatings that have been peddled by the big box stores. If you think a high quality anti-reflective coating is not worthwhile, think again. Nothing can improve the visual and cosmetic performance of your eyewear more than a high quality anti-reflective coating!
If you play sports, you should keep two things in mind related to your vision: protection and precision. Sports lenses protect the wearer's eyes. Sports such as tennis, baseball, softball, and racquetball may see ball speeds of 90 mph or more. In baseball alone, there are over 500,000 injuries per year!
We have partnered with Doctor's Advantage (utilizing Affiliate ID# 10301) to provide our patients with high quality nutritional supplements. Research has shown that antioxidants and other nutrients can be important in protecting the eye from diseases such as macular degeneration and glaucoma. Omega-3 fatty acids have also shown promise in alleviating symptoms associated with dry eye syndrome.

Updating my rating & rationale...
I'm going from 5 stars to 2 stars. My lenses arrived scratched & the next set don't fit my frames. The frames are of cheap quality & I've had better quality from SVS vision & will go to another eye doctor next time. Not worth the expense, even after insurance coverage.

I love this office. Every eye exam I have ever had at this office has been prompt, thorough, and I left so happy! It is rare to find an office that does not make you wait in the lobby, which shows how efficient the office is running. Dr. Garretson is kind and has excellent bedside manner. If you're looking for the BEST eye doctor in Clarkston, he is it!

I came to Premier Eyecare with concerns regarding my vision. I was met by friendly staff, had a very short wait time, and was given complete attention and information which answered all of my questions. The doctor is clearly an expert in his field and made me feel welcome and comfortable as he answered all of my questions in a manner that ensured I understood everything he was saying. I left feeling very satisfied with my visit and feel it is a very reasonable price for the quality of it. This place is very clean, pleasant, friendly, and professional. I would highly recommend it and will be back

Kate is very welcoming and easy to set up appointments with. Tyler made me feel comfortable with a thorough cleaning of the equipment and made the initial exam easy. Andrea has great style advice and hooked me up with some great looking glasses. Dr. Garretson is extremely knowledgeable and makes you feel at ease. Best eye doctor experience ever

Nice little local owned business. Dr.Garretson knows his stuff, he is kinda geeky, but I guess that's good when he is you doctor. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable. Their selection of glasses was quite good. They have the latest styles and frames. I did the big chain business but I just felt like a number there. The free use of the Keurig is nice.
