Dr Davidovitch - and team - first of all did a painless, procedure, so I could walk out after three hours and (except for having to be initially careful not to har the new hip-joint) was able to walk around with a cane for safety within a few days. Secondly, the team followed up diligently with initial, light exercises & instructions for a few over-the-counter meds to ensure I would not catch infections, counter pain etc. Lastly, for THREE months I received detailed instructions for many exercises to strengthen the leg operated on, so i could continue to get stronger than before. AWESOME!

I can recommend Dr Davidovitch completely. I have now used his anterior hip replacement procedure on both of my hips, and in each case I had a smooth, speedy and thorough recovery. I also noticed that Dr Davidovitch is always working to streamline and perfect his procedure, so my second operation was even easier than the first.

Words cannot express my thanks and gratitude to Dr Davidovich for the amazing job that he did. After being in pain for months, I was able to “walk” out of the hospital pain free a few hours after my surgery - and have been feeling great ever since.
My scar after 3 months is also non existent when compared to other people’s scars who’s must be at least 12” long on the side of their thigh or in front of their thigh who also had a hip replacement operation 8 months and few years ago ( different doctor/ different hospital ) Dr Davidovich – I am very grateful for this…

I do not have words to sufficiently express my appreciation for the entire staff at OrthoManhatten. My 16 year old daughter had persistent hip pain when we were sent to see Dr. Davidovitch from another provider. Every single person we encountered is extraordinary. Where does one begin to describe their surgery which was necessary due to unbearable and constant discomfort? Start by leaving the hospital 9 hours after surgery and sleeping in one's own bed that night! All discomfort, other than the wound, went away immediately. Post Op was basically a dream. I've had numerous surgeries before but end to end; Dr. Davidovitch's manner, skills and results made my hip replacement almost fun! There really is no other place to get your hip replaced. Thank you.

If only there were more doctors like Dr. Davidovich, I felt confident & relaxed through the entire experience. I had surgery at 8am & walked into my apartment without assistance & no pain before 4pm that afternoon. By the 5th day I walked to my doctor's appointment, again no pain. I was given plenty of direction before & after surgery & all went smoothly. I have never felt better & so glad to have my life back after 3 years of pain after a fall. Best hip surgeon in NYC! Dr. Davidovitch performed my mother's hip replacement surgery about a month ago. After numerous diagnosis and other opinions from orthopedic hip surgeons in NYC Dr. Davidocitch was the only doctor that my mother would allow to touch her. The MD is experienced, knowledgeable, empathetic, 1st class education (Harvard) and instills confidence. He is literally "the" inventor of the anterior hip replacement approach" (which is the best possible technique if you or someone you love is a candidate). He gave my mother her life back.
