Pole Worx started over a decade ago in a small studio, and we have grown as the world of pole fitness has grown. Now an international sport, we are bringing pole to Kansas City. All our classes are great ways to get fit without even noticing. Our studio feels like home to many of our students. We form a community so that our students look forward to coming to class-we wouldn't want to miss our buddies nail that new move!

Our ladies night out party went so well, we ate, then hit pole worx for some pole lessons, then hit power & light which is 2 minutes away, and tore up the poles there at the clubs lol. I took a pole dancing aerobics class and it totally kicked my butt. I go to the gym at least 3 times a week and figured that I would'nt feel it really, but pole dancing aerobics is the real deal, I see why all these celebrities like Terry Hatcher rave about it.
Classes: Please arrive 15 minutes early for your first visit to allow time to park and do paperwork. Always be on time, as we do not allow late entry once class starts. I've been to a few bachelorette parties in my day and Pole Worx bachelorette parties ROCK! I even learned how to go upside down!
We were looking for a venue to hold my best friends bachelorette party, mainly because I didn't want 20 girls spilling drinks in my house while we did games and opened presents etc.I was planning on spending $400+ for a venue, so it was cool to get a venue. I've been taking a pole dancing class at Pole Worx for 2 months now, I am in the best shape I've ever been in, in my life.

Parties: Please arrive 10 minutes before your party starts to allow time to sign the waiver and pay. 1 hour parties are great for parties that don't have any food or games and just want to get down on the poles and set the night on fire before the clubs!. 2 hour parties are great for parties that have food, presents, games, or other entertainment planned for the extra hour.

I have been taking pole classes for the first time for about 3 weeks now and I can’t express enough how awesome of an experience it has been! I have never taken dance classes so it’s all new to me and the instructors have been so encouraging, informative and kind! I have had Alex & Brittney as my instructors so far and they have been fantastic! I can’t wait to try more classes and meet the other instructors.

I called Pole Worx to inquire about classes. I was informed that they have an all gender class on Sunday evenings but that the rest of the classes are women only. I told them that, while I have a masculine voice, I am a trans woman. The person I was speaking to told me that that's why they have an all genders class because I wouldn't be allowed to attend the women's classes. I guess trans women aren't women.

Home away from home! I love the diverse staff and members (18+ to grandmas, all types). You will learn proper and safe techniques, and do take the non pole classes. Classes are designed to work together for maximum fun and fitness goals! The staff is amazing, loving and encouraging, and the members reflect these qualities, as well!! Oh, and they have parties which are amazing!!

I signed up for a class at Poleworx Having no idea what I was getting myself into. The first thing was I was lost. I called the number for the business and ended up talking to the owner for 15 minutes! She was so nice! When I found where I was going, I walked into a beautifully decorated space with graffiti art all over the walls. The studio was not only beautiful, but had nice equipment and good energy. What I experienced in the class was one of the most empowering, inclusive, confidence building activities I have ever experienced. I have never had so much fun in an exercise class. I started taking pole classes because I thought it could be a fun hobby but it has become so much more than that for me. It’s given me confidence and appreciation for my body and what it can do. I’ve always felt supported and encouraged without judgement by staff and students. I recently began teaching classes which I’m very excited about! Pole has become one of my greatest passions and I’m very grateful that I get to share that with all of the amazing people here!

A little more than 12 weeks ago i was looking around Kansas City for a gym. I knew i wanted it be a gym with classes and teachers so i could workout but also ENJOY it. And i found just that with Pole Worx! Pole Fitness had changed my life! (for the better)
They have far excieded any expectation i had going into this. I’m so grateful for the teachers, the other girls, and how safe of an environment it is. I’ve gained so much mental and physical strength since i started this fitness journey. Honestly one of the best decisions i’ve ever made!!

Sonja was an incredible instructor! We came for a bachelorette party with a group of 7 for an hour class. We learned a few turns, body moves, and a routine. Sonja took the time to answer our questions, help us improve, and made the class really fun! At the end of the class Sonja took a lot of fun pictures at the end, and it really made some fun memories for our group. Would absolutely recommend for bachelorette parties and any ladies' night out!

THIS WAS SO FANTASTIC! We went to Pole Worx on 11/24/18 for a bachelorette party and did the pole dancing and chair dance class for 1 hour total. It was not enough time at all! The hour flew by because it was so much fun. The instructor, Julia (i think?), was super nice and didn't make things awkward. I would totally recommend this to anyone!

We had my 35th birthday party at PoleWorx, and it was a great time! We had a few complicating factors, but the owner helped us navigate everything seamlessly. My birthday is always on Boulevardia weekend, and it gets CRAZY in the West Bottoms. But overall, it was a pretty easy time! We all met for a drink at The Ship, then took a quick Lyft to the drop-off point, where we were able to breeze through the gates and walk right up to the PoleWorx studio.

Poling at Pole Worx has been an amazing experience and opportunity while I've been in Kansas City for work. I was so delighted when I found this studio and even more so when I met the instructors. Julie is so incredibly welcoming and fun, she teaches the best yoga relaxation class and super fun chair dancing, you have to try both!! Then Mollie is absolutely a joy to dance and learn from, she is very upbeat and encouraging and she can really help you with stretching. Her Flex and Flow class is my favorite! Sonia also is very sweet and was lovely to pole with. Aimee is so strong and talented

They were friendly but not very well at making everyone feel included. I thought these classes would have an actual lesson so I bought a 6 month package to make me buckle down and go, but the pole class was just an open gym. I grew up in a ballet studio and understand how close the student and teachers friendships grow, but the class I took was to the point where the teacher didn't even pay attention to any one but her friend. I asked for my money back and they were nice enough to let me candle the 6 month as long as I paid for one month. So at least the customer service is good.

I have had experience in pole dancing before coming here. I came here for two months due to an internship, and I have never been to a better pole studio. I love Pole Worx more than my own studio. The instructors greatly care about the students. If you nail something, they cheer for you, and if you have trouble, they help you improve and show you some things to work on. Every single class is enjoyable, fun, and engaging with a wonderful atmosphere. I highly recommend this place!

Went to Pole Worx for a bachelorette party a couple weeks ago, and took the pole class with Mary. We had a blast! Such a nice studio, everything was clean and cute. I highly suggest taking a class for a fun girls' night out. We learned a lot in an hour, and it was a great workout. I was sore the next day!

I got to learn some swinging techniques but after an hour, I still can't climb the damn pole. They had stripper shoes available, maybe the pumps would have helped give me some push but if I wore them, I would have most likely injured myself and ruined the whole night for my bride-to-be friend. I took off my socks and shoes and pretended I was drunk and just acted silly the whole night like the pole was my lover.

I am from and live in Houston, TX and was visiting my best friend who lives in Kansas City. She is getting married and I was in charge of her Bachelorette party. I searched for fun things to do and came across a pole dancing/party bus place named Pole Worx. I thought it would be great for a group of girls to get together, get dressed up, and learn how to work the pole. The party was for 06/06/2015. In February ( the 26th to be exact) I paid the deposit for the 2 hr Pole Party and waited to get to Kansas City..... Arrived in Kansas City, MO 06/04/2015 and called 06/05/2015 to see if I could look

I am really going to miss this place. Just moved out of the state so can no longer attend my favorite noon class with Casey Key. This class is great for all levels because she will teach you based on your current level. She works on her own thing, which is really inspiring to watch all of her amazing moves, then helps you whenever you need new moves or suggestions on perfecting a trick. She is a great pole dancer and a great teacher. She made me fall in love with the art of pole dance.

Yay first review on the new location and happy to be able to give you 5 stars! Unfortunately, I can't comment on the new location. I have only been to the old one. But I will comment on the classes. First off... Best groupon ever!!! $20 for tanning and classes?! Yes! Now classes: I have taken the yoga, bilates, chair dance, pole, bootcamp, and Zumba. The best instructors were Paige and one of the girls that does bootcamp and Zumba. (Can't remember her name) my body got an awesome upper arm workout in pole.
