Wilder Pilates is Located in the Blue Valley Bank building on Woodland Road in Lenexa, Kansas. The studio is an inviting, open and non-intimidating space dedicated to Pilates. Wilder Pilates is a fully equipped studio. Our expert instruction combined with top notch apparatus allows us to help you achieve your fitness goals.
Karen has studied the best of both worlds, the structure of classical pilates with Peak Pilates in Boulder, CO and added the therapeutic and restorative regimen of a more evolved pilates system with Polestar Pilates. Karen suffered a back injury in her 20's and was introduced to pilates and found that practicing pilates on a regular basis greatly reduced her back pain, improved her posture and overall helped in her daily activities.
This is for all new clients to the studio, whether your plan is to continue with privates or go into semi-privates sessions, this is the foundation to build upon. You will have 3-50 minute one on one sessions with a fully certified pilates instructor catering to your specific needs. You will be able to purchase an Introductory Private Package after completing the Request a Session form.
Pilates does not fatigue you to the point of exhaustion, but will leave you energized and rejuvenated. It can be a great stress reliever! As with any consistent exercise regimen, you should notice increased energy with regular practice. Pilates is a very safe form of exercise. Personal sessions are catered to your individualized needs.
Payment is due at the beginning of each month for all private/semi-private sessions, or at the time of service. Wilder Pilates does not charge membership fees or dues. Private/semi-private sessions and all group classes require 24 hour cancellation notice to avoid being charged. No shows or less than 24 hour notice will be charged the posted rate.

I enjoy learning and working to get better, at Pilates. It’s challenging, but rewarding. Karen makes it possible for me to actually feel like I am successful at Pilates, and I look forward to more success and goals obtained for years to come. The studio and the equipment are well maintained and clean, I really like that. I would recommend Wilder Pilates to anyone, any level of fitness, beginner or advanced.

Karen has built a wonderful Pilates practice. She and her instructors are a joy to work with. Their knowledge of Pilates and the interest in their client's physical condition make the sessions challenging but always safe. We have been students for over 3 years. It may sound weird, but we look forward to our three sessions every week. Zoom sessions are a great option when we are traveling.

Karen was great! I loved working having her as my instructor. It was my first time ever doing Pilates. She explained the different equipment she had and explain what the exercises were, and how to do them very well. It was great to work with just her, rather than start off in a class and not know what you're doing. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants to start or is already doing Pilates.
