Intentionally small, our class sizes allow for individual attention so that you can get the most out of every class. We offer Pilates mat classes and yoga classes (1 hour each) and quick 30 min Pop-In Pilates classes over lunch and after work. Drop-in for one class or purchase a 10 or 15 class card and help yourself commit to a better you!.

We also offer specialized classes for Pre/Post-Natal Preparation and Repair and Breast Cancer Recovery. Our individual one-on-one sessions focus on an issue unique to you. We work with clients to improve arthritis symptoms, scoliosis, weight management, pre-natal preparation and post-natal repair, post surgery recovery, post physical therapy maintenance, and chronic disease management.
Services
We're a small studio with small classes - intentionally so! Fewer bodies in the room mean that we can give more attention during class and help you feel better sooner. Lauren has completely exceeded our expectations. She goes above and beyond the standard instructor by offering expertise for clients with very specific physical and/or emotional needs.
Join us for classes around town! Our Pop-Up events are themed and community oriented - and all proceeds are donated to local non-profits. This class is modeled after the Pre/Postnatal Pilates program developed by The Center for Women's Fitness, designed to"Prepare the body for Birth" and to "Repair the body after the Birth."
Lauren Thompson has been teaching Pilates (and yoga!) since 2007 and holds an MA in Counseling and Guidance from UMKC. With her extensive background in both how the body moves and how our minds work, Lauren brings a unique perspective to her clients, using techniques from both worlds to help her clients achieve total health, mentally and physically.
Buy One, Give One Why not take care of yourself while finishing up your holiday shopping list? For our 5th anniversary, we want to thank you for helping us continue to Thrive through all these. Did you know the founder of Pilates used his internment during WWI to practice and refine his now-popular.
All classes are by reservation only. Don't worry, it's easy! We just need you to pop into MindBody at least 24 hours in advance, and let us know you're coming to class. If no one signs up, a class will be cancelled. And if you sign up and don't show your face, you'll be charged for class. Knowing how many people are showing up for a class helps us be better prepared on our end.

Lauren is a skilled Pilates teacher! She is knowledgeable and perceptive, which means she adjusts as necessary. I have physical weaknesses that Lauren works around. And together, over the last five years, we have strengthened my body. I recommend Lauren without reservation…she is great!

Pilates, with Lauren, has been a life changing experience! She has helped me to retrain my muscles to work efficiently and alleviate back issues. Pilates is a sneaky fun workout that you FEEL the next day.

Pilates with Lauren is different than your usual Pilates class. She is fantastic at viewing your posture, identifying weak areas, and then working with you to strengthen them. If you are looking to work with someone that knows how to help you gain strength and mobility in order to lead a more active life with less discomfort, this is the work out you want. You can literally feel the difference by the end of one class!
