Kehler's Gymnastics Center is Closing After 40 Wonderful Years. We want to thank the many tens of thousands of families who have trusted KGC for several generations with the instruction and care of their children. We had no idea in 1981 when we were just starting out, just how much we would grow and how many lives we would touch.
Kehler's Gym has had multiple locations over the years including Valley Forge, St Davids, Ardmore, Rosemont, and of course our home base has been for all those years, Broomall PA. Watching small children grow up in our programs to eventually become adults, who would later bring their own children to share in the same experience they enjoyed as kids, has been one of the greatest joys of our lives.

My family has been attending Kehler's for a year and a half. The staff is very friendly and responsive. Coach Sarah has demonstrated an excellent demeanor with the toddlers. Mr. Kehler encourages exploration during the toddler gymnastics program which is appropriate for their developmental stage. We also had a birthday party for our older child and it went very well. Again, the staff was helpful and responsive.

This establishment accepted a booking for a four year old's birthday party and cancelled it via email an hour before. They said it was due to weather, there was a scant two inches of snow maybe. One of the party went there and the parking lot was plowed. Ridiculous! I would never encourage a family to use this facility. If they had been gracious enough to hold up their end of the agreement they only allow you to order food from one location which is not highly rated for service or quality.

I absolutely love this place for my daughter. The instructors are very attentive and work well with the students. My daughter always has a lot of fun while learning different gymnastic skills. We had a birthday party here and it was great. I loved the fact that all i had to do was show up with my daughters cake and food for the guest, and the staff took it from there. The staff are alway very nice and professional.

So this place is advertised as special needs friendly. Firstly, I would like to point out that they gym itself appears to be ran by a group of high schoolers who clearly know nothing about dealing with individuals with special needs and whose customer service skills are far below average. The website states that if you have a child with a special need, it is mandatory to meet with Mr. Kehler, the owner, before your child starts. A meeting was never even mentioned when we started or before we started...Swipe the card, stamp the hand and in you go. When I asked for a meeting with him after my

I recently had my son's 5th birthday party here.
In short, there seemed to be annoying rules, lack of communication and personality with the employees towards party group, and unclean.
The planning process, which i did over the phone) was easy. The Kehlers representative was very helpful, polite and informative of my options. I was told to arrive 15 minutes early to set up room.
Day of party, We were greeted with a smile and was soon introduced to our party host who only spoke when asked a question and wasn't helpful for the remainder of the party. And i wasn't allowed to set

Went for a birthday party of a dear friend and had a lovely time. The birthday girl takes gymnastics classes at the facility, but it was my daughter and my first time. I can understand people that say the place could be updated or looks a smidge tired, but I thought it was absolutely fine. My four year old certainly loved it - she had an absolute blast. We arrived for the party with our forms filled out, and their team member quickly instructed us where to leave her shoes and the gift and excitedly took her to the gymnastics area. The children got the opportunity to play and were led through the

The owner of Kehlers is a real piece of work. I had both of my daughters enrolled in the preK class over the summer. We stuck with it in spite of the sweltering heat which was enough to make me as a simple observer want to pass out. The kids just adored gymnastics. We enrolled in classes for the fall and on the first day of class, the owner (who didn't identify himself) argued with me that I needed to purchase t shirts for both of my daughters to take the class. We attended all classes throughout the summer without this "mandatory" t shirt. In fact there was a handful of children

I gave this a star because my son loved it. That said, it is flawed in many ways. Number one: dirt. Number two, parents are treated like chattel. Number three: classes are pointless and children are hustled through, not learning much. Number four: teachers are underpaid. In fact this is what prompted me to write this review today. I'm on their email list, and today I received an advertisement regarding part-time employment opportunities. Payment is "nine dollars per hour plus tips." Never have I tipped a teacher there, and never did it occur to me to tip a teacher. If they are paying

We came here for a birthday party. Since it was summer I'm guessing that is why the place was not super packed. The staff was helpful and available. My son had a blast. Looking online the cost is very reasonable.
They should have turned on the fans. The parents were "comfortable" but once my kid emerged from the play area he was drenched in sweat. You don't realize he's sweating until he comes near you .. .which he doesn't because he's having a blast.
I parked on the street so I am not sure if there is parking around back. As i was leaving there

We just attended a birthday party there. I think most of the kids had fun but the staff was remarkably rude. Adults aren't allowed into the main floor leaving our nervous child out of the activity as a result. The party staff seemed to do nothing and even hassled us about having a diaper bag on a stack of chairs. Consider training your staff on basic courtesy: saying please and thank you, smiling.

This place has some negative reviews yet I was just there yesterday for my nephews birthday party and it was decent.
Now after reading some of the reviews before arriving I was like this could either be great for the kids or a hot mess for everyone.
Upon arriving, I helped my cousins unload some of the things for the birthday party and I first saw the girl behind the glass upon entering, who directed us inward with probably the most miserable "I-hate-my-job" face. Now the reviews mentioned rude workers in the past and in my book that is poor customer service (this girl) but here&apos

Terrible party host!! Terrible. Were super rude to my guest who had a special needs son. Kept telling her he couldn't go inside the play area because he had braces on his legs, and they weren't even braces.
Party planners did NOTHING, never set up our beverages, plates, napkins, she kept asking me where I wanted everything and that was clearly HER job, then we were rushed. We were to eat at 4, didn't get in to eat till after 4 then she kept rushing she needed to sing happy birthday, she did NOTHING. I will be contacting the owner on Monday. I feel like we were ripped off BIG time

This was our first time at Kehler gymnastics and I will never return. We came here for a friends birthday party. The first part of the party was in the large gym where adults are asked to wait in the observation room. The age recommendation is age 3 and up. Since my son is 3, I put him there so he could enjoy his friends party.
He was uncomfortable at first but I thought he would warm up. At the end when all the kids put there socks back on, none of the helpers came to help him put his socks on when he obviously needed the help. Eventually one helper came over and said something that made him

My daughter attended gymnastics for 1 year and we are changing to a different place. Kehler's only cares about making money. Her teacher often changed, no one was able to give me feedback on what she needed to work on. They are only concerned with making as much money as possible. Don't waste your time!

We have moved to Philadelphia Gymnastics Center in Conshohocken - what a pleasure to be treated like a paying customer instead of something the cat dragged in.
I do want to make clear that I never had a problem with the teaching staff - only the front of the house. Front of the house represents the owner/business - they're the first & last people you see & talk to and if they're not good in customer service they're in the WRONG profession!
