Services
Founded by Owner/Coach Judy Kennedy in 2014, JK Gymnastics is a unique athletic education facility in the greater Philadelphia area which strives to optimize human potential for all those who enter. Our philosophy is strongly rooted in the belief that Gymnastics can be a tremendous tool in facilitating growth and development in athletes of all ages and ability levels.
JK Gymnastics offers a wide range of recreational classes that focus on aspects from motor development to strength and conditioning. Instructor-based classes for children 5-7 years old. Each class features a warm up, group activity and core gymnastic instruction and progression weekly. All gymnastic events are incorporated into the weekly lesson plan.
JK Gymnastics offers a variety of age-based, recreational (non-competitive) gymnastics instruction. These classes meet for one hour, once a week for the full semester. Semesters are typically 10 weeks long. Our 10 week sessions cost $300. The Ninja classes are $325. When arriving at the gym, please park your car in a parking space and walk your child up to the front door 5 minutes prior to the start of their class.
Our Training Team is for gymnasts 5-9 years old who exhibit the necessary skills, work ethic and desire to be a competitive gymnast. This structured program allows the athletes to work toward team skills and prepares them to join JK's USAIGC Travel Team or Intramural In-House Team in the future.
Our in-house, Intramural Team is for recreational gymnasts who are looking for a taste of competitive gymnastics without the full, year-round commitment of our competition team.Intramural gymnasts compete in a series of meets throughout the year, held at JK Gymnastics; they compete against themselves and observe their progress from meet to meet.

From a father's perspective this is one of the greatest assets of our area.Owners and staff at this facility are peerlessly passionate and committed to providing these kiddos with a safe haven for not only being kids but also establishing the agility and physical fitness that our culture has largely left out in recent times. These incredible motivational leaders and role models go to extreme lengths to reach each child with energy and enthusiasm you can feel from the bleachers. The facility state-of-the-art, exceptionally clean, bubbly, and spares no expense.

JK Staff has been exceptional during this year of craziness. Our daughter has had a sense of normalcy during her Training Team practices. The coaches were able to pivot while still perfecting old skills and teaching new ones. It was great to see how much our daughter progressed at the last in house showcase last month. Looking forward to seeing her growth as she continues to train at JK!

2 of my daughters attended JK for a few years. I paid in full for the Spring session of 2020 a few week prior to the shut down. Of course Covid was of no fault of theirs, and they were shut down. I called in the Summer about a refund and was told they could not do refunds "at that time", but there would be a credit. My Kids play soccer, so we couldn't do Fall enrollment, and when I went to enroll in Winter, they were completely booked with long waiting lists. They just now have availability, but my daughter no longer has any interest in gymnastics and I am being refused a refund. Coach Donna was

My son has attended classes at JK Gymnastics for about 4 years. He can be nervous with new situations, but he began in one of the Boys Bee Strong classes and instantly loved the high-energy environment. The coaches did a great job of encouraging him to try new activities while respecting his fears. He has been a part of the Ninja program for the past two years and loves learning new skills and challenging himself on the ninja obstacles. We feel that the strength & skills he has learned at JK have enhanced his abilities in all of the sports that he enjoys.

I am actually surprised by all of the good reviews. My daughter was in a spring session class 2 years ago at age 4. We took the summer off because we spend time down the shore. When we tried to get back into a class in the fall, none of the available times worked for us since we had missed open enrollment despite having been a student there. We decided to wait until the winter session when we could sign up early. We were informed that priority goes to currently enrolled students who wish to remain in class, then to current students that wish to change classes, then whatever is left will go to the

JK is a fantastic place for the youngest of gymnasts. Coach Judy, the owner, is always on hand to participate in class and has boundless energy. Customer service is top notch and staff is flexible, hands-on and very accomplished. Birthday parties are also well managed and lots of fun for eager tots!

Both of my children have attended gymnastics classes for the past year and we all love it. What set me over the top and compelled me to write a review is the quality of the birthday party they just gave my daughter and 17 other children. I’m in awe of what the coaches provided these children for the party. I could have dropped off all the supplies and left the building entirely and the party would have been just as amazing. That is to say, I had to do nothing! The children were wholly engaged the entire time and left exhausted after a great party. I would not hesitate to have another party there

Didn't have a great experience. We did the trial session and everything seems confusing and unorganized. No one came and talked to us and couldn't reach anyone to ask questions. Classes seem very overcrowded as if they're primary concern is profitability.
Disappointed because I thought my daughter would love it here.

I checked out a few places and called around. I am really big on customer service and this place exceeded my expectation. I felt welcomed and comfortable. My little one was ecstatic!! The instructor is A-mazing! Although, we are entering the gymnastic world for the first time ever. I am glad I found a great place my child can grow and be great!!

We just had my daughter's birthday party at JK Gymnastics, and they are FANTASTIC. All coaches/staff were amazing, they kept the children organized and engaged which was great (a lot of times these types of parties can turn to chaotic kids running around!). They seem to have a very large focus on having fun vs. being too serious which is great. Facility is clean and comfortable. They also set up and cleaned up the party room, which was amazing to me (I was prepared to do that myself which wasn't a problem! I would highly recommend this place for a party, and if my daughter ever wants to take classes
