Sandiegovacation was established in 1999. Started with 1 property, that a local realtor managed. I thought they could use more organization, so I asked to partner up with them, and manage the vacation property management side of the business. The company grew by a few rentals each year, and now we manage 30 properties.
If you are interested in a pool, and air conditioning, take a look at the Imperial Beach Club. The Imperial Beach Club is a U-shaped building that sits on the sand. It has a total of 45 condominiums, and we manage about half of them.
Every home has Air Conditioning, a view of the beach, and use of the pool, which is located in the middle of the U. Depending on the vacation rental, you will have either a southwest view of the beach, direct ocean front, or northwest view.There are only 2 Bedrooms or 3 Bedrooms in the beach club. The garage is located under the building and every unit has 2 assigned parking spaces.

Don't stay in unit 210! This was our 4th vacation to Imperial Beach Club. Also stayed in this unit 3 years ago and it was lovely. We booked thru Sandiegovacation.com. they did not warn us of the deterioration of this unit. I'm posting pics of the deferred maintenance. I emailed my concerns twice with no response to either email.
1. Balcony above us with large hole with falling dry rot and mold. Health and safety hazard!
2. Carpet worn and torn. Repairs with tape. Tripping hazard!
3. Furniture so broken down almost impossible to get up.
4. Bathroom tub/shower enclosure and tile moldy

We stayed in 305 and the view was wonderful. I enjoyed waking up every morning and seeing the ocean right out of the window. However, for the price we paid for the room, it was pretty shabby. The cleaning crew only cleaned the quick basics. There was popcorn all over the floor by the night stand in the master bedroom, dust everywhere, cabinet handles were so stripped they just pulled right off, missing broken blinds, there were locks missing from the doors, glass rings on all of the furniture, we found other peoples clothing in the drawers, the master closet was packed with tile, paint and carpet

Great place to stay! My family has come here for 18 years and has enjoyed every single stay. The view can not be beat and the condos are all great. This year we rented 9 units and every single one was in great condition - we had a small incident with the AC in one unit but the issue was remedied. Thank you for the great stay!

Horrible customer service. We made reservations in November 2017 to ensure we get the room we wanted facing the ocean view in August 2018. While on our drive down to San Diego we realized that they had changed our room from the second floor facing the ocean to the first floor on the side of the building (with partial views). The manager Trisha claimed that they had had called in January 2018 to inform us of the change. That actually never called us to inform us of the change. Very dated condo at Imperial Beach Club. The dishes and appliances still dirty and put away. Floors sticky, rugs stained, cabinets gross and sticky. Beds not very comfortable. The gate access to the beach was only oprible from the inside and the fitness room was a joke, it was used as a storage room. Next time we will look into the house on the beach or another facility. Imperial Beach Club needs some major updating and repairs before we return

Terrible terrible experience renting a condo from this company. We reserved this condo and our deposit was taken out immediately only to be called and told we cannot stay here. We were looking for a condo that suited us and a couple members of our wedding party as we are getting married in Imperial Beach. The renter is 26 I'm 26 and we were having a couple of members from our wedding stay with us, and because we weren't a "family" or a couple of members aren't 25 years of age they denied us. My entire family enjoyed staying at this beach house. All of us loved the beautiful beach right out front and the views from the living area were amazing! Our kids collected hundreds of shells on the beach by the surf camp. This is definitely a place we will stay again. It was FANTASTIC! The management company could not be nicer.Handled all our questions, showed us all kinds of info on where to go.

We are a family with young children. It was so nice to have room for everyone to sleep and play comfortably. The condo was clean and ready for us when we arrived, plenty of towels and everything else they say they would provide. We stayed in #301. The Farmers Market on Fridays down the street is must for lunch or dinner. We LOVED our vacation at Imperial Beach.

I just returned from The Imperial Beach CLub on Coronado. First of all, I want to say that I had no idea where this condo was located on Coronado, and was so happy when I drove up to the Condo. I rented unit #112, and it was just great. The balcony was right on the water off to the side , but the sunsets and mornings were spectacular sitting having my morning coffee. The building is very secure, landscaping was beautiful, the pool was lovely( although I did not use it ). There are two parking spaces for each unit in the garage. The condo was very well furnished, the beds comfortable, enough towels

Great people in the office to deal with, I had a great experience with their service. I rented 3 properties for a small reunion, all in the Beach Club. Everything was perfect. I personally stayed in #305 in the beach club, and absolutely loved waking up to view of the ocean every morning. My wife already booked to come back next March.

I would not recommend booking your reservations through SanDiegoVacation. While the accommodations we stayed at were nice, the customer service was among the worst I have encountered in the service industry.
Some background - We showed up to the Imperial Beach Club and there were signs all over the beach stating that the water was closed due to contamination. It turns out it had rained a week before we arrived and apparently the stormwater from Tijuana always floats north, resulting in beach closures. Although I recognize that a beach closure is in no way the fault of the management company

Imperial Beach Club is a great condo rental. The check in process was super easy, everything was as promised!
