A graduate of UC Berkeley School of Optometry, Dr. Davis has been serving the Westside of Albuquerque and Rio Rancho since 1992. She opened Modern Eyez in 2003. Dr. Davis did her undergrad work at UNM after graduating from Manzano High School. Dr. Davis is a member of the New Mexico Optometric Association, and has served as their President.

In his duties as Office Manager at Modern Eyez, Ray can solve insurance related issues, fix eye glasses, teach patient's to insert contact lenses, help select and order eye glasses, and generally solve patient problems.

I went in for a routine eye exam to Modern Eyez. I hadn’t been seen in 3 years. The receptionists were extremely friendly and helpful and answered some questions I had about my paperwork.
I only had to wait about 5 minutes before Amanda (the Tech) came to get me. Another positive and comfortable experience while she performed the eye tests and explained what each one was for.
I was seen almost immediately by Dr. Davis. She is a very personable doctor who listens and answers any questions you may have. She compared my previous tests to the current one and showed any areas of change or concerns

My first time at Mordern Eyez and I was very impressed by the service I received and the staff was so friendly. The appearance of the clinic/office was clean and beautifully decorated....loved the art work. The doctor took her time with me to explain the tests I went through. I believe that for the first time I am actually getting the correct prescription and a beautiful pair of glasses.
I will definitely recommend this clinic to anyone that's looking for an optometrist....especially my family and friends.

Modern Eyez is taking precautionary measures for covid so I felt very safe visiting their office. Staff was very professional and explained the purpose of each test before it was performed and I appreciate all their new technology. The doctor spent good quality time with me and explained my test results in detail. I would highly recommend their office!

My appointment was right on time. I waited two minutes in the lobby. I filled out a questionnaire before I went to the appointment which helped things proceed much quicker. The tech did all the evaluations on my eyes quickly and efficiently. Dr. Davis came in within 1 to 2 minutes, talked about myEvaluations and showed me pictures. Evaluated my contacts strength and made adjustments if necessary. Very quick very efficient I was paid for and out the door within less than an hour, 50 minutes. I would highly recommend Dr. Davis’s services for yearly eye exams! Her office and staff are top notch
