Our optical staff is comprised of 27 individuals all who individually and together have many years of optical experience. The frame and lens business can be complicated and overwhelming. Most team members at Accent On Vision have been with the company many years and really know how to handle almost anything.
At Accent On Vision, our entire team is committed to providing advanced vision care in a professional and comfortable environment. As optometrists, our primary eye care service includes a complete eye exam that analyzes eye health and vision function. In addition to eye exams and vision testing, our team of optometry professionals provide testing for glaucoma, cataracts and macular degeneration.

At Accent On Vision, we strive to make sure the time we spend with you during your visit is quality time.
At Accent On Vision, we strive to provide comprehensive, primary eye care for the whole family. Preventative and routine eye exams are important to maintaining good eye health. Often, eye and vision problems do not have obvious symptoms or signs, but are easily diagnosed by a licensed optometrist. By diagnosing eye and vision conditions early on, our optometrist is able provide treatment options and in many cases restore or prevent vision loss.
A contact lens exam is only has good as the contact lens options the doctor has to choose from to fit the patient. At Accent On Vision, we have a dedicated contact lens staff and many, many choices of lenses available allowing the doctor to give the patient the best fit. Picture going into the shoe store and having two choices in your size and both do not feel right.

No accountability from technicians or management. Wore my "good" glasses to an appointment in October; the first technician scratched the lens while using a machine to check the prescription (minor, I was prepared to let this slide). Following my exam, I requested an adjustment and that technician returned the frames with two fresh scratches on the bridge of my glasses. I noticed it immediately and pointed it out; she demurred but eventually got the manager. I have been extremely happy with Accent on Vision for past 9 years. Many glasses purchased over the years And no complaints until yesterday. I was called to pick up my glasses, went and tried on the glasses and I couldn't read anything, the glasses were blurry and basically I was told there was nothing wrong with the glasses. I refused the glasses and was told NO refunds. I asked to speak with the person in charge. Was told No person in charge today. I purchased 2 pairs of glasses (regular & sunglasses) in November with prism lenses. After being assured that they would be able to successfully provide prism lenses for both sets of frames, that was not the case. It took 8 months and many trips to their location to have the damaged lenses looked at and replaced. I was continually promised that they would be able to fix the damaged lenses but after 4 lens replacements, they still did not work. I have been coming to AOV every year for at least 20 years- since I was in kindergarten. In the last 5 or so years, the service has become horrible. The doctors are great but the technicians leave you waiting for 40 minutes to an hour for simple things. Recently a lens I purchased was defective and I waited an hour and a half in their waiting room for someone to cut and insert the new lens. This is something I was told would take 20 minutes over the phone. I really want to leave but my doctor has always been so great that it makes it hard. Please fix the attitude of the staff. I've been a long time customer with them for almost 20 years, but am probably going to be switching to another optometrist. I've called now about 7 times to get an appointment, and you get put on hold and nobody answers or you get hung up on. That tells me they just don't want my business, or are too busy to help someone that has been with them for so long. So sad they are terrible with the phone and making appointments. I'd like to give them my business, but I just can't get a hold of them, because they are good once you get in there.

The service was always good until this time. My prescription was incorrect. The doctor corrected and my glasses was Fixed. But with the contact lentes they want me to purchase them again. Spending another hundreds of dollars. I think that is not service. Is not the client fault is prescription was incorrect. I will take my business some where else.

I've been coming here for over 20 years and have always been happy! Dr. Zucker is a gem. Recently went in and decided to purchase new glasses and sunglasses. The gentleman who helped me was so patient with my indecisiveness and picking the same frames over and over lol. The staff is always helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.

I was appalled at the lack of social distancing in this office today. And the lax proper wearing of masks was also an issue. And a very crowded waiting area shocked me as well. I did not feel safe. In contrast to this "lip service" to CDC guidelines, I had a visit with my primary care physician today. That office respected social distancing by blocking out seats in the waiting room, proper wearing of masks was obvious and appointments were appropriately staggered to avoid a crowd. The Accent on Vision waiting room, on the other hand, was so crowded, there were no seats when I arrived

Came in to pick out my new glasses and I had no idea what would look good on me. My experience that I had with my Optician Melissa A, was the best I've ever had at an eye place! She was so friendly and upbeat she made me laugh! I had the best time with her. She knew exactly what would look good on me and what would not. I've seen many eye doctors over the years and Dr. Tammy Nguyen has exceeded my expectations over all of them. She is professional yet personable. This is the second time I've been to this place and it just keeps getting better. This time, I had a pair of glasses that had broke and I needed to see if I could get them replaced or fixed.
I spoke with Ms. Monica and Ms. Rachel for just a few minutes before Ma.Monica jumped up out of her seat ran over to the display cabinet, grabbed a replacement part, installed it, and pronounced the glasses as good as new.
Super quick and easy and did I mention no cost? Well they say there's nothing in life for free but I beg to differ. Also I wanna shout out to and. Paloma as she reminded me

Dr. Zucker is wonderful, but the front staff is horribly rude and have an attitude. They feed off of each others tone. A gal named Marci came up and started complaining about a client to the other two gals (one black hair and one red hair ) and they gave their own negative opinion. Mind you , there were 7 people around that heard their gossip of the other client.
For what Dr. Zucker stands for this was an unexpected and disappointing experience and hope the staff becomes more respectful.

I was a patient about ten years ago when I first moved to Tucson and returned for an exam, an updated contacts script, and new glasses recently after moving to the northwest side of town. I see Dr. Zucker. He's a little eccentric and quirky, but he's a nice guy, caring, and good at what he does.
