I've lived in 10 different places in 9 years. This was by far the worst place I have ever lived. Terrible neighbors, place is falling apart and filthy. The property managers don't answer calls or emails. They are incompetent and give people false information. Parking garage is closed for repairs but they will never pay to have it repaired. Police are always showing up and people break things in common areas and also in the laundry room
Packages stolen by homeless people daily. Elevators broken; and trash left all over the place. Do not live here under any circumstance.

Before Sage Mgmt took over from Ginkle Mgmt, Knollwood Towers had a resident manager. She was very diligent and aware of everything going on in the building. There was never garbage set outside the dumpsters, never garbage in the hallways and elevators and the hallways were shampooed regularly. Not the case now. The manager was always available even after office hours. During office hours, the door was open and she was there. She knew most residents by name. Not the case now. How disgusting this place has become. It is an embarrassment to have to call this home.
Yes, I will be out of here as soon

Because this building is very old, we were kicked out of the garage for several months for structural repair. Sadly, the upper floors are still parking outside of their garage stalls. Also there are frequent water shut offs due to old water pipes breaking. Also, I signed a lease that included all utilities last year. Then, this lease made me pay for water and sewage out of my own pocket. Other than that, this is a pretty nice place to live.

I noticed two of the high star ratings are not even for this place ..
This place sucks..and so does management all the way from the top down.
Garbage room a mess...they will never keep this place clean with the slobs they are filling this building with.
Cops are here alot, if you dont believe me look it up on the internet.
Noisy cars in the parking lot...hope you don't get an apartment next to the parking lot.
Garage upper level out of order...so parking around here is terrible and winter on the way.
People leave trash in elevator and parking lot.
Management is hard to get a hold of. They

Long review -- I lived in Knollwood Towers West for a year and moved out in October 2020. Positive note, the one-bedroom unit itself was spacious and quiet. I rarely heard my neighbors unless someone was talking in the hall. The units also have large decks. Utilities were covered within my rent, and the rent was very reasonably priced.
With that said, the elevators were constantly out of order and the water was shut off frequently. It was a rare day that both elevators worked. The common areas were not clean, and the garbage area overflowed. People drew phallic images and words in the dirt on

Do NOT rent from this apartment complex. I lived here for 9 months and could not be more relieved to move out. I am amazed how much nicer my new apartment is for the same price.
The apartment itself is so dirty, outdated, and not accurately represented on the website. The shared common areas are constantly cluttered with garbage and the garbage room is piled to the ceiling with garbage and is disgusting. The elevator never works. Residents write down negative comments about the apartment and post them on the walls in the elevator and hallways (see photo). Residents do not respect the apartment

Do not rent from this apartment complex.
For the first year we lived here, everything was great. Any maintenance request or question we had for management was answered within a day, and they were friendly. We got a notice in October of 2018 that our complex had been purchased by Sage Apartments, and that's when everything went downhill.
It took them 7 months to fix our bathroom after a major leakage absolutely destroyed the walls (see photos). When they did come to fix it, no major repairs were done - they simply plastered over all of the water damage, and got plaster all over the bathroom floors
