Water doesn’t drain in sink or shower, light overhead smells like it is about to catch fire any second, the remote control will not turn tv on or off, toilet paper is see through and towels are rags, sheets have cigarette burns all over them- this place is a dump and creeped me out. Felt like I needed to sleep rolled up in plastic to protect me from germs, oh yea, ice maker non existent or broken as well....and no one cares. Do not stay here- better off to sleep in your car.

Ice machine is broken, provides no breakfast, no soap or shampoo, TV remote was broken, the sink and shower drains were plugged for 3 days until they finally decided to call a plumber, one ceiling light burned out, there are roaches and bedbugs and I've already woke up with numerous bites since the start of my stay. Hotel cleaning service runs until 8:00 at night at times, bothering us consistently throughout the day, however they refuse to clean rooms during client's stay. There had been one incident, another dude staying at this place knocked on our door at 3:00 A.M. because his heater went out

It was an ok room but I came prepared with my own sheets and blankets. The ones we got in the room had a weird smell and the pillows well not so good. The room smells a bit weird like someone had just recently had smoke in there. With kids that’s not ok. Some of the light didn’t work and we heard our neighbors sounds all night

I have stayed in several different cheap motels over the years. Vast majority are crappy, dirty, run down, have trashy people that yell constantly and smell like smoke even in the "non-smoking room". I was very pleased that the Yorktown Motor Lodge was not like that. Though it was cheap, it was clean, quite actually smelled nice and had very friendly staff. I am a young female and was traveling alone, i felt safe the entire time I was there. If you are looking to travel on a budget, i would for sure go here!
