At Bridges of the Mind we are a family with a passion and commitment to serving our community through outreach and individually tailored services. We strive to provide an inclusive, diverse, and accepting workplace, where professionalism and expertise are valued, supporting the growth of our providers through continuing education and professional development.

We support people across the lifespan with learning and developmental challenges through clarifying assessments, which provide a framework for understanding and allow for tailored interventions, to bridge from the evaluation to resources and services. We are dedicated to our community and our family is here to support and guide your family.
Services
Bridges of the Mind Psychological Services was founded by Dr. Erika Frieze in 2018 in response to her drive to work with and help as many families as possible. In 2019 Dr. Frieze expanded her vision of Bridges of the Mind and grew it into a group practice of clinicians and specialists who are passionate about providing services to our community and region.
Bridges of the Mind Psychological Services, Inc. provides psychological evaluations on a fee for service basis. Assessment fees are typically calculated based on your specific referral question. The majority of the time our evaluations are flat fee-based. If there is a more complex question we will discuss this during the initial meeting if there are additional charges.
Tutoring utilizing the Barton method to help all ages learn how to read. This method is commonly used for individuals with Dyslexia and is a proven intervention for anyone struggling to read. In addition general reading tutoring to help with fluency and comprehension are also available. Bridges of the mind are so kind and helpful.
Bridges of the Mind offers Educational Advocacy services to our clients. The initial appointment with clients will be an in-depth intake to go over the challenges of the student and to pinpoint the greater needs of the family and student. We will also work with the school district as needed, attend Student Study Team (SST) meetings, 504 Plan meetings, and IEP meetings.

As a fellow psychologist, I refer patients to Dr. Frieze with confidence. She is highly skilled in autism assessment and differential diagnosis. Dr. Frieze approaches her assessments with care, compassion, and years of experience.

Dr. Frieze is very compassionate, knowledgeable and helpful with her vast experience. We needed some help with one of our kids as our family dynamic was out of whack. She brought some amazing solutions and we saw over a pretty short period of time very meaningful positive change in our child. Thank you so much!
