Called a few repair shops on Friday afternoon and the only guy that answered was Mark over at Timely Techs.
Came by Sat morning and diagnosed a bad virus. But he was able to fix it at my houss. It took a couple of hours, but I could tell he enjoys his work and is a pro. I also just liked him. Very down to earth and a straight shooter.
Anyway, he did a good job and I was back online quickly.

Had Mark come out to the shop and upgrade some of our computer equipment, install a backup network drive as well as perform a tuneup/preventative maintenance. Great personality and consummate professional in an industry filled with mediocre techs at best.
Highly, highly recommended.

I like Mark. Been using him for years. He recently started up his computer biz after closing it to start another business...his health went south but he's recovering now.
I only found out because he called me to ask if I needed anything. My pc had been running great, however I had him come over anyway and perform one of his legendary tune ups.

I needed my laptop hard drive replaced and my data saved. Had Mark come to the house [I work from home], and he confirmed the issue in a few minutes.
He gave me an estimate and took my laptop with him. By the next evening he called to let me know the job was nearly complete, but was going to run the laptop overnight to test and make sure there weren't any hiccups. I had it back on my desk that next morning with a 1 year warranty and all my info saved in a file on my desktop.
Great work. Finished quickly and Mark was friendly as well. Recommend whole heartedly.

It's been 4 years since I've been to Timely Techs, but potential customers should know about my experience there. I left a review back then too, but accidentally removed it when I was cleaning up my Google account. Mark's response to that first review was that he had no record of me.
What happened was that my laptop was running slow so I decided to look for computer repair shops in Whittier to diagnose the issue. I specifically chose Timely Techs because on their website it said that they gave free diagnoses. So I dropped off my laptop and waited a couple of weeks without any updates on the status

My first review ever. Been using Mark at Timely Techs for a few years. Great guy, first class service all the way.
Ignore a couple of the other reviews. There are always bad apples out there. Mark isn't one of them. Give him a call...support local business.

Seriously though...call Mark right now.
Got a virus on our laptop and it was bad...so bad that it was wiping out our data. Mark had his wonderful technician Mike immediately back up all our data onto an external drive and scan it to make sure that what could be saved was virus free.
It took a day and a half...not 2 weeks like a couple of the other pc companies around town. We had our laptop back like new...running smooth and our precious family photos and Quickbooks files were back inside as well!

We took in 3 laptops for tune ups and to be checked for viruses. 2 were infected, third one was ok....just needed a once over. Overall, great service and price was good too. We got a discount for bringing in the 3 as well. Highly recommend over the last place we went.... (Geek Squad)
