We had 208lbs of e-waste for them, and after seeing us struggling carrying the first load down they told us to just sit back and wait. A few minutes later they loaded up in like 3 minutes and were out the door. They sent us a nice clean PDF of the recycling slip within 48 hrs. Really awesome service, and I'd absolutely recommend them!

They do a really good recycling electronics. If you never know what to do with old computers, cell phones, printers, TVs, VCRs, etc., these are the guys to call. The company I worked for had 3 crates worth of e-waste. California Electronics Recycler was the quickest to respond and gave me forms to print out beforehand to make the process quick and easy.
Services
We proudly use the word California in our name because our state has led the country in many environmental arenas including initiating a viable Electronics Recycling industry. Unfortunately, the recycling industry has developed a dirty little secret. The majority of companies who collect and process electronic waste are disposing of it in a manner that is, at a minimum, inconsistent with the concept of "recycling."
California Electronics Recycler has been recycling electronics in Southern California since 2009 and has grown tremendously over the past years. We are located in the heart of Orange County in the city of Gardem Grove. California Electronics Recycler has helped thousands of businesses and companies recycle their old and unused electronics.
At California Electronics Recycler we use the best data destruction wiping software to make data unreadable by even the most advanced technologies. We use techniques that are Department of Defense compliant for hard drive and electronic media destruction. Many recycling centers offer data destruction but not all of them can effectively keep their promise.
Sometimes Product Destruction is necessary when it is imperative to protect a Brand and make sure that products do not enter second-hand markets. Whenever these services are required for proprietary equipment, defective items, returns, RMA's, Engineering Samples, and/or discontinued products California Electronics Recycler offers its Secure Product Destruction services.

This place is a gold mind for recycling anything that plugs, any metal, small batteries and cables of all sorts. I was so happy to find it!
I have dropped off 3 times this month... there is not limit. The team members were very helpful unloading my boxes. Very friendly and respectful.
Ah! and I got an email with my tax deductible receipt :)

Save your time and gas! What a ripoff. Brought them a trunk full of recycling, including expensive toner cartridges and got a whopping $0 and not even a receipt! They said receipt would be e-mailed. We'll see.
Even the monitors, for which a recycling fee was paid at purchase, and which they are supposed to refund when you recycle got me $0.
Stay away.

I contacted CArecycler on Monday requesting a pick up on Thursday. We ended up changing the pick up to Wednesday. Throughout the process Anthony was very professional, knowledgeable and personable. I felt like I was dealing with top rated customer service company. Even the driver was pleasant to deal with and was 5 minutes early. Well done!!!!!

CAme to this place because of the ad that they posted about free gear and monitors- they recycle whatever is not working for parts/scrap, but they also repurpose or give away the items they know still work. Great people, great cause, very easy.

Right off 55 and Main, California Electronics Recyler is a convenient spot to drop off your e-waste with the perk of possibly to exchange for a refurbished tv, monitor, vacuum, or other used electronic. They are only open during business hours on weekdays. Best to call to confirm current policy in case there are any confusions. The whole process is a breeze, less than 10 min in and out:
1. follow the sign to the warehouse to drop of your e-waste
2. fill out a slip with your info on it while the rep weighs your item
3. sign and take the slip to the front office to pick your desired refurbished

I called to enquire more information on an ad for a LCD monitor through their Facebook page and even though I don't have Facebook, the guy I spoke to was very helpful with directing me with another option to qualify for the program! I love how this company offers recycled items to the public and saves our community from unnecessary e-waste polluting our planet! Great job team! Friendly, helpful and super accommodating staff! 2 thumbs up!!! My dad will be thrilled! Thanks team!

I came in early in the morning, right around opening, the customer service was friendly. It was a real in and out experience. As for the quality of the item you get, I can vouch that more times than none, you'll be satisfied. A friend of mine got a stereo system three months back that is still working without issues to this day. And the 32 inch Sony I picked up is still working, screen is fine and the sound is fine. So all in all, I was satisfied with parking, service and the item I got.
This is a really neat system that ought to be given a chance, I mean, the item you get is basically free given
