Hola Cafe
Located in the Trinity Valley Shopping Center in Carrolton, TX. Hola Cafe is the most authentic stop for traditional Venezuelan fare in the Metroplex - the place for traditional and delicious arepas, cachapas and empanadas! Since opening, our casual Venezuelan street food spot has gained a legion of followers from the area.

Owner Euclides Romero and family take pride in a variety of unique dishes not commonly found in the Metroplex, including cachapas (sweet-corn crepes), pepitos (Venezuelan sandwiches) and the country's national beans and rice dish, pabellon criollo. Venezuelan beer and specialty cocktails based on passion fruit and sugar cane are also available.

Really Good Venezuelan Food. But, there is something that really bothers me of this Restaurant and it is the false Advertisement outside of their Restaurant. From the outside and by the name you would think it is a Colombian Restaurant. Trust me, I know Colombia, Ecuador, and Venezuela have the same color but what distinguish us in what we have in our flags and since a lot of Colombian Restaurants dominate the Area; It just seems the owner designed it this way to mislead customers. They should have put their stars in their flag. Plus, When you think of cafe (coffee) you don't think of Venezuela

Best Venezuelan restaurant in town. Real authentic Venezuelan food. During the holidays tried the holidays specials and were very good Hallacas, Pernil, Pand de Jamon had in several years.
I recommend to try the parrillas for one or two people, excellent to share.

I’m Venezuelan and honestly the food is just ok, not bad but not sooo good neither… the place is beautiful but the prices are too expensive.
In my opinion there’s better Venezuelan restaurants in the area.

Wanted to try something new. I was shocked to find this delicious restaurant. Haven't really heard any buzz about it but it is amazing! Came back a second time 2 days later. The food is unbelievable! It is so fresh and so consistently flavourful. We started with Tequeno. Never had them before and I'm addicted. Nice flaky bread wrapped around melted gooey cheese. So decadent. Then we shared a trip it was shredded chicken/avocado, pork, chicken with a corn pancake with cheese. So rich and filling it was heaven. Also tried a Arapes my goodness I love the freshness. Everything is just so fresh out

The food is great. In the past he really enjoyed coming. This last visit, the waitress pushed a special meal on us neglecting to mention it was twice the price of what we requested. Unfortunately that tainted our experience considerably. Might go back but not very soon.

I did not like their food at all. It was extremely salty, greasy, and the beans seemed to be canned beans. We ordered three plates and paid over $70 because of their 18% service charge (2 adults, 1 child). We do not recommend this place.

Oh my gosh! Just strolled in wanting a change of pace, and I'm so happy I did! We ordered pepiada and domino, and they were amazing! Our server took lots of time telling us what every word meant, and she was so helpful and easygoing. We got a parchita to drink - WOW! I am coming back here to try everything I can! Who knew Venezuelan food was so wonderful!

This spot was amazing authentic food! I haven't had Venezuelan food in a restaurant ever.... and they had a great first impression on me! I am vegan and they were able to effortlessly accommodate my dietary needs! A must try!

This restaurant is great if you want all of your food to taste like salt! Service is mediocre l, had to call the server to get anything we needed, they simply took the order, dropped off the food and the check when we asked for it.

I assume they are using disposables because of Covid-19, but using French fry red and white checked paper basket plates and 1-2 ounce condiment cups for sides is a little extreme for a menu than ranges in price from $6.99 for a black bean and cheese wrap to over $35 for a seafood combination. The table ware offered is prepackaged to go small fork and spoon - which

My neighborhood group went for our monthly dinner club. $27 is too much for a burger/fries/coke; and I never go back to a place that adds an automatic gratuity (we had 7 people... not exactly a "group." It isn't my job to pay your waitstaff... pay them a fair wage and don't add their salary to my meal tab. A tip is supposed to be for service and my experience determines the amount I will tip. So, I won't go back for the high prices and I won't go back because of the automatic tip.

Authentic Venezuelan food. So delicious, fresh. Order the El Papelon cocktail made with Santa Teresa Venezuelan Rum. The arepas are fantastic, the tequenos (cheese sticks) are the bomb. The plantains with cheese and nata (cream cheese) are amazing. The cachapas are the way to go. So filling. I'll be back for sure.

My wife and I were craving arepas and in the area and sometimes serendipity happens. We ordered one arepa with two fillings, the pastelitos (sp?), and a side of fries.

The fires - good, not amazing, but not bad; maybe a little under seasoned for my taste.

The pastelitos - DELICIOUS.
We had the chicken and they had
ham and cheese. Golden fried and almost super flavorful. Definitely order them.

The Arepa - Solid.
True this wasn't the best I've ever had but for a "build your own" I did the Queso Blanco and fried pork shoulder. The arepa was brimming with fried pork chunks

Great Venezuelan food. Just as good as mom's homemade Venezuelan food. I would definitely come back. The place is clean, cool and the back ground Venezuelan music brings back great memories of Venezuela.

Excelent option to have Venezuelan's food in the Metroplex. If you want to try Arepas or cachazas, this is your place to go.

I came on Friday night but they said they have live music on Thursday and Saturday night.

Empanadas is another great option here. Everything was good. Friendly service. I'll be back for sure.

I love Arepas! Many years ago, my sweet Venezuelan friend and I would meet for tennis religiously and the. Eat arepas religiously- best part of working out. They were so hot and fresh and buttery and oooey-gooey when we filled them cheese and ham. What I remember most was waiting and waiting and waiting for them to be done. Today, that was not the case. I so desperately wanted to love this place because the young ladies that greeted me were so welcoming and nice- however, I was overcharged by one arepa- I only ordered one, charged for two. Super disappointing. I also order a side of yuca fries

Had my first Pepito ever, and it was yummy!. Pepito is a French baguette, stuffed with chunks of grilled beef & chicken with cheese. They add a house sauce, lettuce, and tomato. This place sells Venezuelan street food, and is family owned. They've been opened about a month.

The place is very well maintained, and enjoyable, they put background music which makes the atmosphere better. We went for lunch time, and the place was empty until about 12:30pm when it become very busy. We had the sancocho, pabellón, and the cachapas with pork, which three typical Venezuelan plates. The desert they have tres leches and quesillo, which is like an egg pudding. They have natural juices, including mango and passion fruit. The food was extremely healthy and tasty! It can be a bit pricey though.

We tried Venezuelan the first time in Madrid and second time here and I would have to say that it taste alot better here. We ordered pepito mix beef and chicken , tequenos and they were both very delicious!!! It makes my mouth water writing this up. The pepito is in a nice soft and crusty bread with savory beef and mouth watering chicken that keeps you taking bite after bite without a break. Dont forget the tequenos which is warmed freshly baked bread wrapped around melty cheese is a must. Just come out and try it !
