Yoga Darsana is a diverse community of people that meet and practice yoga together. Our space is dedicated to learning the art of yoga and the desire to evolve in the practice with clarity and mindfulness. We officially began in the winter of 2004 and have been growing organically since this time. We are located in the heart of Alhambra in the San Gabriel Valley and look forward to welcoming you in person!
Our teachers are dedicated, compassionate and skilled in the art of teaching yoga asana. They are helpful in guiding and assisting students move deeper into their practice. The instructors are either Certified Iyengar Yoga Teachers (CIYT) or are currently mentoring with a CIYT and studying towards certification in the Iyengar Yoga method.

Services
Our priority is taking care of our local community. We are a community of yoga practitioners from all walks of life. We believe that yoga is for everyone and everybody. We are seekers of inner peace and together, as teachers and students, we learn and grow for the benefit of all. Perfect for beginning students and for students who seek to refresh their understanding of fundamental poses.
Feel free to join us 15 minutes before class starts and please mute yourself to minimize background noise. If you have not been to Yoga Darsana before, please create a Yoga Darsana Punchpass Account. Assemble your props and pick a space to practice. Please have a mat, block, strap and couple of blankets available.
Dora will guide us inward through a quieting practice of restorative poses that promote inner peace. Maribeth Helen will guide us through meditation and will share how plants are storytellers and wisdom keepers. Please bring your yoga mat, a couple of blankets, a belt and a journal if you would like to make notes after the meditation practice.
The in-studio classes will be smaller with new safety spacing. Classes now require pre-registration online for each person prior to arrival. If you are not able to register for a class, please contact us at 626.590.1908 or via email at yogadarsanastudio@gmail.com. The studio windows will be open during practice, we have added air purifiers to each room which will be kept on at all times.
