I had been in solo, private practice for nearly 30 years when our family decided to relocate to further my husband's career. My choices were limited: start another solo practice or look to join a multi-surgeon group as a junior partner. Neither option was appealing.
When I came across Sono Bello's ad for a new clinic in the very city to which we were moving, I consulted with a colleague who had worked for them for years, went to watch him do surgery, and when I was satisfied that this was a legitimate company, I contacted them for an interview.

Thank you for your interest in the Aesthetic Fellowship training program at Sono Bello. Since its inception in 2019 our six-week program emphasizes a clinical training track based at one of our 10 surgical training centers. We seek to train future surgeons who are ethical and compassionate, and dedicated to the care of patients, as well as advancement of medical knowledge and hands on experience.
Dr. Christopher Chung joined Aesthetic Physicians in 2009 and as the Chief Medical Officer, he has remained committed to his primary objective: advocacy for patients and surgeons to ensure our team delivers safe and effective surgical treatments.
Wanting to be a part of something bigger and make a difference beyond individual patients, Dr. Chung has been integral in developing the Aesthetics Fellowship as an opportunity for surgeons from other disciplines to master a suite of procedures and begin their journey to a rewarding career and an improved work-life balance.Dr. Chung is known for providing mentorship and guidance to his peers.

This organization as a whole works very well together. Although I was initially nervous about potential challenges, I can stay with great confidence that the staff they provide is well trained, which allows a physician to focus on patient safety and patient outcomes. No overhead, competent staff and an elegant clinic make this income opportunity very fair.

It’s most important to acknowledge no job is ever perfect. However, APPC delivers the ability for the surgeon to focus on patient care while they handle the day in and day out business, logistics and marketing, that consumed the majority of my time in my previous, very successful, boutique private practice. It’s a gift to be able to transition to SonoBello and have a full schedule soon thereafter. Filling the schedule is the biggest challenge of an aesthetic practice and those who haven’t run a practice, believe it will be easy. Not so. Removing that burden has reduced my stress load significantly
